This Accountant role offers full-set accounting exposure, ownership of regional finance activities, and close partnership with senior finance leadership and global stakeholders. It’s an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional looking to grow within a scaling, international organization.
Key Responsibilities
Full Accounting Ownership
- Manage full-set accounting functions including AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and month-end close activities
- Process vendor invoices and payments via bank transfer or wire
- Maintain strong working relationships with Hong Kong banking partners
Reporting, Audit & Compliance
- Support month-end and year-end close in coordination with global finance teams
- Act as the primary point of contact for Hong Kong auditors
- Liaise with Hong Kong tax authorities and ensure local statutory compliance
- Ensure adherence to internal finance policies, procedures, and controls
Regional & Global Collaboration
- Serve as first point of contact for customer A/R inquiries and collections
- Partner with international stakeholders across time zones
- Support process improvements and finance system enhancements as the business scale
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience
- Strong experience with AP, AR, and general ledger accounting
- Experience supporting month-end / year-end close
- Familiarity with ERP systems and financial reporting processes
- Strong Excel skills and high attention to detail
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently
- Fluent in written and spoken English; Cantonese/Mandarin is a plus
- Experience working in a multicultural or global environment preferred
