Engineering Manager, Infrastructure
Lithic creates card issuing and payment infrastructure for technology companies that just works. We help some of the world’s fastest-growing digital banks, fintech companies, and software companies process billions in transactions annually.
Lithic is hiring an Engineering Manager for our Infrastructure Team. The day-to-day work is a blend of operational and project work, with occasional incident management. At Lithic, we have adopted a DevOps model where teams own their own infrastructure and the infrastructure team owns the tooling and governance that allows teams to do this effectively and safely. In this role, you will focus on running the team-building shared tooling that helps to ensure that the easy way is also the right way. This role is a player/coach role and will involve some (20% - 30%) individual contribution.
We run our services and infrastructure primarily in AWS but maintain an on-prem footprint where necessary to serve our partners. Our infrastructure is maintained as infrastructure as code in a blend of Pulumi, Terraform, and Ansible.
