Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Product Director with a strong background in SaaS to lead our product management team. The Product Director will oversee the development and execution of product strategies that align with our company's goals and market demands, particularly in the SaaS technology sector. This role requires a deep understanding of market trends, customer needs, and technological advancements to drive product innovation and growth.  

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with the company’s overall goals and objectives. 
  • Identify market opportunities and define product roadmaps to capitalize on them, especially within the legal SaaS market. 
  • Conduct market research and gather customer insights to inform product development and positioning. 
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to ensure product relevance and competitiveness. 
  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch and beyond. 
  • Ensure timely and successful delivery of new products and enhancements. 
  • Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer support, to ensure cohesive product development and launch. 
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product performance. 
  • Regularly review product metrics, conduct performance analysis, and implement data-driven improvements. 
  • Act as the primary point of contact for product-related communications. 
  • Provide regular updates to senior management, stakeholders, and customers on product status, milestones, and future plans. 
  • Manage product budgets and allocate resources effectively to maximize ROI. 
  • Ensure efficient use of resources and adherence to budgetary constraints. 
  • Build and mentor a high-performing product management team. 
  • Provide guidance, support, and professional development opportunities to team members. 

Requirements: 

  • 7-10 years of experience in product management. 
  • 2-5 years of experience in a people management role. 
  • Proven track record of successfully managing SaaS product portfolios. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree is strongly preferred). 
  • Must have a strong SaaS background. 
  • Candidates with a legal background and early-stage tech startup experience are preferred but not required; ideal candidates should have experience in the SaaS technology sector and startups. 
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills. 
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities. 
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills. 
  • Proficiency in product management tools and methodologies. 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 
  • Visionary mindset, customer-centric approach, and a passion for innovation and technology.
