About The Role: We are looking for our first dedicated Sr. Manager Strategic Partnerships with a focus on cultivating partnerships and growing new alliances within the legal technology space.You will be responsible for building and growing partnerships with legal software companies, overseeing a small sales team, and helping to expand our reach and influence within the industry.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, recruit, and negotiate with new partners; Manage business development activities to identify, develop, and administer strategic partnerships with other organizations to realize key objectives, gain operational efficiencies, address unmet market needs, and create new customers and markets
- Manage partnership reporting, pipeline, and performance; Establish processes to track, measure, and analyze results and outcomes and evaluate partners' value
- Develop a partner strategy and model for formalizing partnerships
- Collaborate with sales, product, marketing, and operations teams to implement partnership enablement strategies and program
- Lead the planning for strategic partner business reviews; Present company information and partnership performance, sales, and solutions at business reviews
- Support the renewal of large partner programs
- Educate and engage with internal teams to increase their understanding of the tech partners so that we can optimize the long-term value that tech partnerships can bring to Litigiven
- Oversee and mentor a small team of 1-2 direct reports on the sales side, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their targets.
Requirements:
- 4-7 years in a partner management role; preferably in a B2B SaaS company
- Experience with partnership building in the legal space preferred but not required
- Experience building, managing and growing large complex partnerships, building partner pipeline, and executing on opportunities
- Experience building out partner programs from enablement to sales execution
- Strong commercial awareness and a proven ability to identify and develop partnership opportunities
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of team and customers - Able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users
- Avid learner – our product and the legal technology industry are always evolving and so your knowledge must be too!
- Able to establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle
- Experience overseeing and mentoring a small sales team
