Head of People Operations, Litmus India 

Location: Pune, India

Direct Reporting: Managing Director, Litmus India

Functional Reporting: Global Director of People Operations

Work Experience: 12 to 15 years

About the Role:

The Head of People Operations, Litmus India is a strategic leadership position for leading end-2-end human resources function, oversee talent acquisition, and set up a Global People Operations capability within our India-based GCC. This individual will be responsible for defining and implementing HR policies and processes, driving organizational maturity, and fostering an engaging and inclusive workplace culture in collaboration with Corporate People Operations team.

 

The individual in this role will work closely with leadership team in India and Corporate to deliver the following key responsibilities:

 

Role’s Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition

  • Work with business stakeholders in GCC and globally to identify talent need.
  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent at all levels.
  • Engage and manage partners for recruitment.
  • Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing to onboarding.
  • Manage candidate pipelines, post job descriptions, and collaborate on internal candidate feedback in Greenhouse.
  • Build a strong employer brand and maintain a robust pipeline of talent.
  • Ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new employees

HR Leadership & Strategy

  • Work with corporate team to define and implement HR policies, processes, and best practices in line with country specific requirements.
  • Develop and drive the overall HR strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Lead workforce planning, succession planning, and leadership development initiatives.

 

Global People Operations

  • Establish a scalable PeopleOps framework that supports both local and global operations.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international labor laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Develop cross-border HR strategies that align with the company’s global objectives.

 

Culture & Employee Engagement

  • Foster a positive, high-performance workplace culture.
  • Implement programs and initiatives that enhance employee engagement, morale, and retention.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on cultural and organizational development.
  • Performance Management & Organizational Development
  • Design and implement performance management frameworks in Lattice. 
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance HR service delivery.
  • Support managers and leaders in effectively managing and developing their teams.
  • Define and set-up a robust competency management system for ongoing skills development

 

Role’s Desired Qualifications:

· A minimum of 12 years of progressive HR experience, including strategic and operational HR leadership roles.

· Proven expertise in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and organizational development.

· Experience in defining HR policies and implementing scalable HR processes in a growing organization.

· Strong understanding of global HR operations, including compliance with international labor laws.

· Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage teams and foster a collaborative work environment.

· Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment is a plus.

· Proficient in Lattice, Rippling, and Greenhouse HRIS.

· Experience in hiring and managing talent in emerging technologies. Work experience in industrial software company is a huge plus
