About the Role
We’re looking for a Technical Content Creator to join the Knowledge Enablement team at Litmus. This role focuses on producing clear, technically accurate, and visually engaging content that helps internal teams and customers understand and apply Litmus products effectively.
You’ll work across video, visual documentation, and microlearning assets — recording demos, annotating workflows, and creating short explainers that support adoption and product knowledge.
This is not a full-time video editing position. Instead, you’ll combine light production skills with a strong grasp of technical storytelling for software and IIoT contexts.
You’ll collaborate closely with the Technical Knowledge Consultant and the Knowledge & Enablement Manager to ensure every asset you create is accurate, aligned, and properly managed in the Litmus Knowledge Hub.
Key Responsibilities
- Create short, high-impact video content such as walkthroughs, annotated demos, and quick-learn clips using tools like Camtasia and OBS.
- Produce visual documentation and graphics to accompany technical resources (e.g., workflows, product updates, how-to guides).
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to capture accurate product demonstrations and refine messaging for clarity.
- Maintain a structured, version-controlled media and document library within the knowledge hub (including Litmus Academy).
- Apply consistent formatting, accessibility, and metadata standards across all assets.
- Support publishing and maintenance of learning content in the Litmus Academy or other public repositories.
- Incorporate light AI-assisted editing, transcription, or automation tools to improve production efficiency.
What Success Looks Like in 90 Days
- You’ve learned the fundamentals of Litmus products, Litmus Academy, and our internal Knowledge Hub workflows.
- You’ve produced and published at least five short-form training or demo videos, meeting internal standards for clarity, accuracy, and branding.
- You’ve established a consistent media folder and tagging system across all Knowledge Hub assets.
- You’ve co-developed one standardized video template or workflow (e.g., intro/outro sequence, audio setup, or annotation style).
- You’ve collaborated with the Technical Knowledge Consultant to convert one validated demo or success story into a polished training resource.
- You’ve implemented or tested at least one workflow improvement (AI captioning, faster rendering, or template automation) that reduces turnaround time.
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in content creation, instructional media, or technical communication for a software or technology company.
- Proficiency in screen capture and video editing tools (Camtasia, OBS, or similar).
- Ability to simplify and visually communicate complex software or IIoT concepts.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills for managing content versions and lifecycles.
- Familiarity with SaaS or industrial technologies (e.g., APIs, SDKs, edge devices, or data pipelines) preferred.
- Willingness to learn new tools, including AI-enhanced workflows and content automation.
- Experience with LMS or knowledge-base publishing systems (e.g., WorkRamp, Guru, or Confluence) is an asset.
Preferred
- Experience creating technical enablement content (product tutorials, customer onboarding videos, quick guides).
- Background in video-based knowledge transfer or customer education for B2B software.
