About the Role

Little Spoon is looking for a scrappy, highly organized, and endlessly online Social Media & Brand Storytelling Coordinator to help capture the everyday moments of building a fast-growing brand. You’ll create and share content that highlights the energy, vision, and behind-the-scenes life of a founder, while ensuring those moments are seamlessly woven into Little Spoon’s own channels when relevant.

This is a part-time contract role (15 hours per week for 6 months). You’ll work with a founder who is highly involved in and passionate about food, female entrepreneurship, innovation, and design. The role sits at the intersection of storytelling and social media—helping to show how we’re building the Little Spoon brand, offering an inside peek at the journey, and reinforcing our mission to make parents’ lives easier and kids healthier.

We’re looking for someone who gets social—across platforms, across formats, and across audiences. You’re quick, creative, and organized, able to move from ideation to execution with speed and polish. This role is based in NYC with occasional travel to capture content in real time.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and execute a content calendar across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms.
  • Partner with Little Spoon’s social and brand teams to identify and coordinate founder-related opportunities.
  • Capture and produce content—including day-in-the-life, behind-the-scenes, events, speaking engagements, and thought leadership moments.
  • Stay on top of cultural trends, platform updates, and best practices to keep content fresh, relevant, and high-impact.
  • Manage posting schedules, approvals, and real-time content needs with speed and precision.
  • Coordinate occasional travel and on-the-ground content capture for events, launches, or key moments.
  • Track performance and engagement to refine ongoing strategy and content mix.

What You’ll Bring

  • Deep understanding of social media platforms, storytelling, and trends across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and beyond.
  • A “scrappy and online” mindset—comfortable filming, editing, and posting content quickly on the go.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills to juggle calendars, approvals, and multiple priorities.
  • A collaborative yet proactive approach—able to anticipate needs and execute without heavy direction.
  • Strong writing, editing, and aesthetic sensibilities to ensure content is polished and platform-appropriate.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with senior leaders.

What You’ll Need

  • ~3 years of social media experience (personal brand or brand-side; influencer or CPG experience a plus).
  • NYC-based with flexibility to travel occasionally for events and content capture.
  • A portfolio or examples of social media work that show your ability to build and execute across platforms.
  • Availability for 15 hours per week during the 6-month contract period.
