Associate Director, Lifecycle Marketing

United States

About The Role:

Little Spoon was founded on the belief that today’s parents are different—equal parts more time-strapped and more food-savvy than ever. We set out to disrupt a century-old category with products and an experience that deliver on what the modern parent deserves.

We’re looking for a data-driven lifecycle marketer to own and scale our lifecycle campaigns and reactivation programs. As Associate Director, Lifecycle Marketing, you’ll lead lifecycle program strategy across key communication touchpoints - email, SMS, direct mail, and more to engage, retain, and reactivate customers across lead, active, and churned segments.

This is a high-impact, highly visible role for someone who blends analytical precision with creative instinct. This role will report to the Senior Director, Lifecycle Marketing and will mentor a talented team, partner cross-functionally, and help shape how millions of families experience Little Spoon.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and evolve lifecycle campaigns and reactivation programs that deepen engagement and drive acquisition and retention across key customer segments.
  • Manage and mentor members of the Lifecycle team (three direct reports), empowering them to deliver exceptional campaign execution and reactivation program performance.
  • Own the testing and experimentation roadmap, driving continuous improvement across messaging, segmentation, and creative.
  • Own the reactivation strategy across lifecycle channels (campaigns, promotions, direct mail, and automation).
  • Act as the lifecycle marketing lead in go-to-market and cross-functional workflows, ensuring customer communications are aligned to company-wide priorities.
  • Oversee campaign briefing, creative reviews, and approvals, serving as the strategic leader for day-to-day lifecycle work.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance customer engagement through AI-powered optimization. Lead the charge on testing emerging tools; integrate and enhance further automation and personalization into lifecycle programs.
  • Monitor and optimize segmentation and frequency capping, ensuring messages reach the right families at the right time.
  • Partner closely with Growth, Brand, and Care teams to deliver thoughtful, on-brand communications that enhance customer experience and loyalty.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for Little Spoon’s CRM, ensuring data integrity, reporting accuracy, and platform optimization.
  • Provide strategic input for promotions, inventory challenges, and fulfillment updates to protect customer experience and brand trust.

What You’ll Bring:

  • A strategic and analytical mindset with a deep understanding of the customer journey and lifecycle marketing best practices.
  • Strong leadership and mentorship abilities, with experience guiding and developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication skills and comfort collaborating cross-functionally.
  • A passion for testing, iterating, and learning—balancing creative intuition with data-driven decision making.
  • An eye for brand and creative, ensuring campaigns feel cohesive, engaging, and true to Little Spoon’s voice.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, scaling environment.

What You’ll Need:

  • 7+ years of lifecycle or CRM marketing experience, ideally within DTC, CPG, or subscription-based businesses.
  • Proven success leading lifecycle campaigns that drive acquisition, retention, reactivation.
  • Hands-on experience with Braze (or equivalent CRM) and strong understanding of audience segmentation and data hygiene.
  • Comfort managing cross-channel programs (email, SMS, direct mail) and translating performance data into actionable insights.
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating cross-functionally with creative, analytics, digital product, and growth teams to build cohesive, high-impact campaigns
  • A roll-up-your-sleeves attitude and passion for making parents’ lives easier and kids healthier.

Race & Ethnicity Definitions

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
