Associate Manager, Planning & Business Operations

United States

About The Role:

Little Spoon was founded on the belief that today's parents are different — equal parts more time-strapped and more food-savvy than ever before. We set out to disrupt a century-old category with products and an experience that deliver on what the modern parent deserves.

As an Associate Manager, Planning & Business Operations, you will provide tactical project management support across our product portfolio, ensuring cross-functional teams stay aligned, timelines are maintained and work moves forward with clarity and momentum. This role is an important part of the connective tissue that keeps our innovation pipeline running smoothly, from a product's first brief through to launch, renovation and discontinuation. We're looking for someone who has operated inside a CPG Project Management Office (PMO) or formal project management function, ideally within food and beverage, and who understands the pace and rhythm of physical product development.

What You'll Do:

Planning and Business Operations

  • Coordinate project stakeholders, timelines and key milestones across a portfolio of concurrent initiatives, ensuring alignment across teams.
  • Track project progress against critical paths, proactively flagging risks, blockers and overdue tasks to relevant owners.
  • Maintain and update project tracking tools and dashboards, ensuring they reflect accurate, up-to-date status at all times.
  • Follow up with cross-functional partners on outstanding action items and inputs, keeping work moving between formal meetings.
  • Prepare for and facilitate  recurring cross-functional meetings, including agenda development, note-taking and next step distribution
  • Develop, test, and refine AI solutions (i.e. skills + projects on Claude) to scale the team’s work and leverage across the business

End-to-End Product Portfolio Project Management

  • Support the project management of product launches, renovations and discontinuations across the portfolio, ensuring timelines are built, maintained and communicated clearly.
  • Build and maintain project timelines in Monday.com based on brief inputs, project type and launch channel.
  • Monitor and maintain the Portfolio Change Management project portfolio, keeping the status of active SKU renovations, label changes and discontinuations current and visible.
  • Coordinate cross-functional inputs for brief reviews and portfolio alignment meetings, following up on missing information ahead of deadlines.
  • Maintain sources of truth across the portfolio, including SKU lists, discontinuation trackers and at-risk and out-of-stock processes.
  • Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of Airtable bases and Monday.com boards, identifying opportunities to reduce manual effort through automation or tooling improvements.

What You'll Bring:

  • High organization and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
  • A proactive communication style — consistent follow-through, closed loops and momentum between formal touchpoints
  • Ownership of your work, good judgment about when to ask questions and a clear sense of when to escalate
  • You are a self-starter, and ask thoughtful and specific questions to show a basic understanding mindset of doing some research first
  • A service mindset and genuine energy for supporting a high-performing team

What You'll Need:

  • 3+ years of experience in a CPG Project Management Office (PMO) or formal project management function, with a strong preference for candidates coming from food and beverage or other perishable/short shelf-life product categories
  • Hands-on experience with project management tools such as Monday.com, Airtable or similar platforms
  • Curiosity and comfort experimenting with modern AI tools to enhance project management efficiency
  • Strong written communication skills, with an ability to produce clear, organized recaps and follow-ups
  • Comfort working in fast-paced environments with competing priorities and evolving scope

How You'll Stand Out:

  • Direct experience in a food and beverage or perishable CPG environment, with exposure to shelf-life constraints, ingredient sourcing timelines, or manufacturing/co-man coordination
  • Familiarity with product launch or innovation processes, including working alongside R&D, marketing, operations or supply chain teams
  • Experience building or maintaining Airtable bases, Monday.com boards, AI skills + projects, or similar tooling workflows and automations
