Operations Manager
Mountainside, New Jersey
The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the full lifecycle of order processing and fulfillment. This role ensures operational excellence through effective cross-functional collaboration, process management, and data integrity. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment with many moving parts.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations related to the sales process and product fulfillment
- Coordinate order intake and ensure timely product fulfillment in collaboration with warehouse and operations teams.
- Oversee EDI processes to ensure seamless integration with sales and fulfillment.
- Manage product routing to guarantee timely deliveries.
- Collaborate with warehouse teams and product operations to enhance order processing and shipping efficiency.
- Ensure accurate and timely provision of SKU data to major accounts.
- Manage FlexPLM and ISUs to streamline product information management.
- Ensure orders adhere to vendor requirements by managing correct tag and carton label specifications.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for wholesale operations inquiries, ensuring clear communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Sales, Product Development, Customer Experience) to support new product launches and seasonal order fulfillment strategies.
- Ensure compliance with customer routing guides and vendor compliance standards to avoid chargebacks and enforce SOPs for receiving, binning, packing, quality control, etc.
- Maintain inventory levels of warehouse supplies.
- Administrative support to the Operations & Product Development teams
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in operations, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
- Strong knowledge of EDI systems and order management platforms.
- Experience with FlexPLM or similar product lifecycle management tools.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace, and inventory/order management software.
- Ability to commute to Mountainside, NJ, 5 days per week.
