Remote (USA)

Director, Product

At Livefront, we help companies design and build intelligent products and platforms that command attention and inspire joy. We’ve helped household names like CVS, Samsung, General Mills, and Optum create experiences that have reached millions of people, and startups like HomeSpotter and Credly build entirely new businesses that challenge their industries’ status quo.

We’re looking for a Director, Product to join our team.

Who you are

You are a seasoned product leader who blends sharp strategic instincts with a genuine love of the craft. You lead by example, hold exceptionally high standards, and have a track record of inspiring teams to do their best work. You manage competing priorities with clarity and calm, and you know how to rally a team around a shared goal without losing sight of the details that matter. You understand your team's motivations, strengths, and blind spots, and you actively cultivate an environment of learning, growth, and meaningful career development. You go out of your way to serve your team.

You embrace working in a client services environment and are capable and eager to support sales motions with your subject-matter expertise and earned wisdom. You help set the direction of a product practice, inspire collaboration across disciplines, and drive initiatives to completion. You stay current on industry trends—including the rapidly evolving role of AI in product development—and you share what you learn through publications, presentations, and conversations with your team and peers. You are empathetic, curious, and always improving. You are not constrained by product management dogma. Your principles are mature yet fluid, continually evolving with your experiences and advances in the field.

What you will be doing

  • Lead, mentor, and develop product managers and product strategists on the team; conduct performance reviews, support career growth, and foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and transparency.
  • Champion AI-augmented product development practices across the team: from using AI tools to accelerate discovery and synthesis, to embedding AI-assisted workflows into the product development lifecycle and client delivery.
  • Support Livefront’s growth team in new client pursuits by contributing to pitches, scoping efforts, and providing subject matter expertise.
  • Define and uphold standards for product strategy, project execution, and client experience, ensuring those standards are applied consistently across all engagements.
  • Partner with engineering and design to integrate AI capabilities thoughtfully into both the products we build and the process through which we build them.
  • Foster a culture of experimentation across the product practice, instilling in the team a mindset of continuous learning and equipping them with the tools and methods to put it into practice.
  • Help Livefront mature and evolve its product-related offerings, including product leadership consulting.
  • Serve as a product manager, strategist, or consultant in an individual contributor capacity as needed.
  • Work with the broader product team to continuously refine processes and facilitate adoption of those improvements across the team and client projects.
  • Actively participate in recruiting: interview candidates, evaluate technical and strategic abilities, and help build a team with the skills to thrive in an AI-accelerated product environment.
  • Collaborate with the VP of Product Management and other senior leaders on all of the above.

Why you should apply

  • You want to work on products and accounts that have outsized impact and reach and, most importantly, have meaningful business impact for our client partners.
  • You believe in sweating the details, committing to quality, and taking pride in going the extra mile.
  • You are energized by the current moment in AI. Not just the hype, but the genuine opportunity to reimagine how products are built, how insights are surfaced, and how users are served.
  • You want to work with and lead passionate and talented people who are always looking for ways to make things better.
  • You place equal importance on both personally creating incredible product designs and empowering the team to do the same.
  • You desire and strive to foster a work environment where respect, mutual trust, and egoless collaboration are paramount.
  • You want colleagues who take their work seriously but not themselves, and who know how to bring fun into the work.
  • You like being part of and building a team with a reputation for excellence that gives back to the community by educating, mentoring, and sponsoring.

What you bring to the table

  • At least 10-15 years of product management experience, ideally in a consulting environment or as part of an in-house, cross-functional product team.
  • Demonstrated experience leading product teams - teaching, mentoring, and creating conditions for people to do their best work.
  • Familiarity with AI's role in modern product development: from AI-assisted research and synthesis, to building AI-powered features and evaluating model outputs for real-world reliability.
  • Hunger to integrate AI tools into team workflows—whether for accelerating discovery, automating repetitive PM tasks, improving prototyping speed, or generating insight from data.
  • Experience building consumer-facing native mobile and web applications, with a fluent command of product management processes and tools.
  • Proven ability to lead clients to creative, impactful solutions and to articulate complex tradeoffs clearly.
  • Strong strategic planning skills: the ability to see what the team has done, what remains, and how to motivate delivery on time and on budget.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, an ability to defend strategic choices persuasively, including to skeptical or non-technical audiences.
  • Renowned problem-solving skills, above-average personal discipline and organization, and a demonstrated hunger for growth.
  • A self-evident love and care for the craft of building products.

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
