Overview:
We are looking for an HR Generalist to join our team. You will be a key partner working in a fast-paced environment across various business units, with the goal of enhancing and simplifying how our teams engage with HR support and policy compliance. This role offers a real opportunity for significant development and direct exposure to all aspects of the HR function—from talent acquisition and performance management to compensation and employee relations.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to (your tasks):
- Be the first point of contact for client groups; address and resolve requests, concerns and inquiries
- Manage and escalate employee issues that arise
- Collect and analyze HR data to provide insights to the business
- Support monthly payroll processing by tracking employee-related changes
- Facilitate the local implementation of global programmes to drive the desired culture and improve employee experience
- Participating the recruiting process in Germany
- Provide current and prospective employees with information about policies, working conditions, and employee benefits
- Support benefit application and benefit enrollment and handle associated correspondence in partnership with the global reward team
- Facilitate and communicate organizational policies, and recommended best practices to maintain compliance
- Play a key role in the onboarding and offboarding of employees
Here are some of the things you'll bring (requirements):
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 years of human resources experience, preferably in a generalist role
- Working knowledge of German employment law, knowledge of additional EMEA jurisdictions is a plus
- The position requires a self-starter with excellent problem analysis/resolution, employee relations, and customer service skills.
- Proven ability to effectively build and leverage professional relationships and work well within a team approach environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, verbal and written communication skills are a must.
- Very good command of German and English is essential, additional European languages a plus
- High level of accuracy, detail orientation and strong computer skills.
- Possessing talent acquisition experience is a strong plus
- Works well independently, as needed, with limited supervision.
Please note that the successful candidate for this role must live within a commutable distance of Mannheim.
