Senior Product Manager - Cameras and Sensors

ABOUT THIS ROLE
We are seeking an experienced and strategic-minded individual to join our product organization. As a hardware PM over cameras and sensors, you will play a critical role in managing and developing a portfolio of solutions including optical, infrared, and thermal cameras along with radars or other peripherals required for autonomous security solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Camera Portfolio Management: Develop a portfolio of tailored camera solutions for various security applications. This includes sensor selection (EO, IR, Thermal, Low-light), communication interfaces management (Ethernet, POE, MIPI-CSI, LVDS, USB), and packaging (optics, zoom, focus, shutter, housings, pan/tilt gimbals, etc.)
- Sensor and Effector Management: Manage portfolio of non-camera sensors and effectors including radar, proximity sensors, motion sensors, speakers, lights, strobes, etc.
- Product Roadmap and Prioritization: Define and prioritize product features and requirements based on user needs, business value, and technical feasibility. Work closely with engineering teams to balance competing priorities and trade-offs.
- Execution: Lead cross-functional product development teams through the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and requirements gathering to launch and post-launch monitoring.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as a voice of customers and product evangelist to effectively communicate product plans, updates, and value propositions to both internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Data Driven Continuous Delivery: Define and track key product metrics and success criteria. Utilize data and analytics to measure product performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive data-driven decision-making. Continuously optimize products through iterative releases and feature enhancements.
- Customer Insights: Gather and analyze customer insights, data and feedback to drive product enhancements and inform decision-making.
- Product Strategy: Help shape product vision and strategy aligned with the company’s goals. Continuously refine and adapt the product roadmap to respond to market trends and competitive dynamics.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
- 7+ years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of successfully bringing hardware products to market.
- Demonstrated experience developing camera systems
- Experience performing make/buy decisions and managing vendor relationships
- Demonstrated experience in driving product development processes using agile methodologies.
- Proven ability to analyze complex problems, make data-driven decisions and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience developing embedded electronic products.
