As a Principal Value Engineer at LVT, you will be responsible for building a scalable Value Engineering practice and engagement model across our Go-To-Market (GTM) organization primarily serving our Sales and Customer Success teams. You will develop best practice assets, tools, and methodologies that articulate and quantify the value of LVT’s solutions. Your work will support Sales & Solution Engineering teams, ensuring that value-based selling techniques are effectively leveraged to drive executive-level conversations with customers. Additionally, you will collaborate cross-functionally to streamline value-selling strategies and expand LVT’s global footprint.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build a scalable Value Engineering practice and engagement model across the GTM organization.
- Engage with customers to drive value through strategic collaboration.
- Develop ROI models, financial impact assessments, and value-selling tools to support sales and solution engineering teams.
- Ensure consistent execution of value-selling methodologies across all regions and teams.
- Co-lead value-based sales activities, supporting account teams in executive-level conversations to communicate LVT’s impact.
- Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Enablement, and Marketing teams to drive a consistent value-selling approach across the customer journey.
- Identify, refine, and roll out value-selling best practices globally, supporting enablement initiatives for new regions and teams.
- Provide strategic expertise and thought leadership on customer value realization, expansion, and retention to senior leadership.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience in Value Engineering, Sales Strategy, Management Consulting, or Business Strategy.
- Strong background in ROI modeling, financial analysis, and business case development.
- Experience leading executive-level customer engagements, particularly in enterprise B2B sales.
- Proven ability to scale value-selling methodologies, ensuring alignment across sales, customer success, and marketing teams.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex ideas for various stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in customer-facing situations, with a strong executive presence.
- Expertise in sales enablement, value engineering frameworks, and scalable sales motions.
- Willingness to travel as needed (less than 25% typically)
