ABOUT THIS ROLE

We are seeking a highly skilled and business-driven Senior Manager of AI Operations to lead the design, development, and deployment of AI solutions focused on internal business applications and productivity enhancement. This role will work closely with IT, Data, Security, Finance, Operations, and other enterprise stakeholders to identify high-value AI use cases and deliver tangible business impact through applied AI. This is a hands-on role with direct accountability for implementing AI solutions across functions such as finance automation, workforce productivity, internal data analysis, IT operations, legal compliance, and more. While this role does not currently include direct reports, it is critical to the strategic advancement of our AI roadmap.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • AI Strategy & Execution
    • Translate business needs into AI-powered solutions for non-customer-facing use cases (e.g., document summarization, process automation, predictive analytics, chatbots for internal tools).
    • Partners with domain leads across the business to identify, prioritize, and scope AI initiatives that reduce cost, improve efficiency, and enhance decision-making.
  • Solution Design & Delivery
    • Prototype and deploy AI/ML models using tools such as LLMs (e.g., Gemini, Chat GPT etc.), RAG pipelines, and automation platforms (e.g., Power Automate, UiPath).
    • Own the end-to-end development of AI solutions from requirements gathering through proof-of-concept, development, validation, and deployment.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Serve as the primary AI liaison between business teams and IT, ensuring alignment on business impact, technical feasibility, and security.
    • Collaborate with the Data and Security teams to ensure responsible AI usage, data governance, and policy compliance.
  • AI Governance & Policy
    • Support the development and enforcement of AI usage guidelines and risk assessment processes for internal applications.
    • Stay current with regulatory and ethical developments related to AI and ensure internal tools comply with emerging standards.
  • Innovation & Evangelism
    • Conduct vendor evaluations and pilot programs with AI platforms and toolsets.
    • Promote awareness and adoption of AI tools across departments through enablement and training sessions.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 7+ years of experience in technology, with 3+ years in AI/ML roles focusing on internal enterprise applications or intelligent automation.
  • Strong experience with at least one major LLM framework (OpenAI, Hugging Face, LangChain, etc.) and prompt engineering.
  • Proven ability to design, develop, and deploy AI models and automation pipelines in real-world environments.
  • Deep understanding of data privacy, security, and compliance in enterprise IT environments.
  • Strong business acumen and experience working closely with cross-functional business stakeholders.
  • Experience with cloud services (Azure, AWS, GCP) and MLOps practices preferred.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field. MBA or equivalent business exposure is a plus.
  • Experience deploying AI assistants or copilots to automate internal workflows.
  • Familiarity with service management platforms (e.g., ServiceNow), HR platforms (e.g., Workday), and ERP systems is a plus.
  • Ability to create business cases and measure ROI for AI initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
