Talent Analyst, Value Creation Team

Philadelphia

Overview

Help build the leadership teams and talent networks that drive growth across LLR’s portfolio companies. LLR’s Talent Analyst supports executive and board searches for LLR portfolio companies as part of the Human Capital group within the Value Creation Team. Working with search leads and portfolio stakeholders, you’ll turn market insight into strong candidate pipelines and keep each search moving. You’ll also drive value creation initiatives, including the portfolio job board (Getro), the portfolio executive roster and alumni network, and talent database pipelines. This role combines hands-on executive talent research and sourcing with ownership of portfolio-wide talent initiatives, offering exposure to both the people and business challenges of growing companies.

This is a hybrid role, and in-office expectations are set by the Human Capital team based on each search’s needs. A successful candidate thrives with strong self-management: you’ll set your own workplans, track milestones independently, and keep search leads and portfolio stakeholders informed through clear, timely communication, whether you’re in the office or working remotely.

Accountabilities

  • Partner with search leads and portfolio company stakeholders at the start of each search to clarify role requirements, success profiles, and target organizations, then build a focused sourcing plan.
  • Build and maintain market maps by researching target industries, companies, and talent; identify target organizations and candidates, build pipelines, and share concise findings that shape search priorities.
  • Keep candidate records, notes, and status accurate and current in LLR's talent database, following confidentiality, privacy, and recordkeeping practices.
  • Coordinate search materials, communications, and logistics; track milestones, keep stakeholders informed, and raise risks or changes early.
  • Own project management for value creation initiatives across the portfolio, including portfolio job board management, portfolio organization health monitoring, and portfolio-wide executive talent roster monitoring: set workplans and milestones, coordinate stakeholders, and report on progress and outcomes.

Skills and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • At least one year of experience in talent sourcing, recruiting, or executive search.
  • Knowledge of sourcing and research methods, including Boolean searching, professional networks, and talent databases. LinkedIn Recruiter experience or comparable sourcing platforms required.
  • Comfort with AI-enabled tools and modern recruiting technology; able to develop AI-driven approaches that improve research, outreach, and workflows, while verifying outputs and applying sound judgment.
  • Strong research, analytical, and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to connect company and market context to candidate profiles and search priorities.
  • Track record of managing multiple cross-functional workstreams to completion.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including concise, tailored candidate outreach and clearly organized information.
  • Strong attention to detail and data discipline, with discretion around sensitive candidate and business information.
  • Ability to manage multiple searches, shifting priorities, and deadlines with follow-through and candidate care. Collaborative, proactive, curious, adaptable, and solutions-oriented.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office or comparable tools, and ability to learn applicant tracking, candidate relationship management, and research systems.
