Senior Financial Analyst

The Financial Analyst, Corporate FP&A is a high-visibility position on Locus Robotics’ central FP&A team focused on executive reporting, business forecasting, and analyzing financial results. You will produce insights and recommendations for leadership, support the development of operating plans and analyze performance against these plans. This role offers a unique opportunity to help build foundational financial processes as part of a small team in a high-growth fast-paced technology start-up.
Responsibilities
- FP&A partner to Locus Robotics Corporate Department leaders (HR, Finance, Legal, IT) responsible for end to end departmental financial plans, business partnership, and quarterly forecasting.
- Manage total global headcount budgeting and reporting working across all Departments in the company.
- Ownership of the FP&A month-end close process and point-of-contact in FP&A for corporate accounting on the seamless and timely delivery monthly gaap financials.
- Responsible for creating a new central FP&A reporting infrastructure for the company.
- Set-up and provide access-controlled monthly and quarterly variance to forecast reporting to Department leaders.
- Establish reporting process and new dashboards for key operating metrics.
- Support the business in identifying KPIs and providing visibility to these metrics on a ongoing basis.
- Support global FP&A planning process at the company by participating in the creation and consolidation of 3-statement annual and long-range financial plan.
- Participate in various ad-hoc business projects including creating new financial models to analyze the financial impact of new business initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields. MBA is a plus.
- 5+ Years of work experience in Financial Analyst or similar roles in the technology space.
- Expert proficiency in MS Excel, Financial Modeling, and experience in data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
- Experience working with or implementing financial planning processes and improving those processes with new tools or optimizing tools used by finance.
- High level of attention to detail and ability to dive deep into data to analyze complex business issues.
- Strong bias for action and ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast paced environment.
- Detail oriented problem solver able to research business problems and communicate complex financial information to non-financial business partners effectively.
