Are you a hands-on problem solver with a passion for cutting-edge technology? We’re seeking a Manufacturing Test Engineer to develop, implement, and optimize system and sub-system tests for our autonomous mobile robot platforms. As part of the Technical Operations team, you’ll collaborate with our Production team and contract manufacturing partners to ensure seamless deployment and top performance of our robotic systems. This full-time, on-site role reports to the Director of Technical Operations and offers the opportunity to drive innovation in a fast-paced, cutting-edge environment.

Responsibilities 

• Develop and implement test modules for the manufacturing of autonomous mobile robot platforms.
• Engage with the Test, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to implement and execute the test requirements and coverage throughout the entire product lifecycle. 
• Develop test plans, regression requirements, and test coverage assessment. 
• Deploy developed test solutions into the production environment.  
• Support production through escalations and continued monitoring. 
• Analyze test data to improve manufacturing test efficiency and test times. 
• Support cross functional teams by designing tests, developing logging standards, and driving continuous improvement projects. 
• Drive root cause and corrective action for production and field failures. 
• Engage in new product introductions and develop test solutions to enable new technology. 
• Work with Manufacturing Engineering to deploy new test capabilities and provide training. 
• 10% local travel is needed. 

Qualifications 

• BS, Electrical or Computer Science, or a related technical qualification. 
• 4+ years’ experience in deploying and supporting manufacturing test solutions in a high-volume manufacturing environment. 
• Knowledge of data storage/network architecture. 
• Strongly proficient with test/debug methodologies. 
• Strongly proficient with manufacturing test setup & operations. 
• Strongly proficient with product lifecycle management. 
• Strongly proficient with developing manufacturing test solutions. 
• Experience with linking business systems through API 
• Coding experience in Python and JavaScript  
• Experience with ROS (robot operating system) 
• Experience with Linux/Unix. 
• Strong administrative and documentation skills. 
• Direct experience in a manufacturing environment. 
• Experience with new product introductions.  
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
