Job Summary
Develops, modifies and/or reviews drawings of systems or components, according to established standards using Autodesk Revit and reports to the VDC Manager.

Essential Job Responsibilities
- Provide BIM modeling, Design support, Coordination, and Field Team support during the planning, design, and construction phases for all project types
- Perform BIM modeling of electrical systems, from construction documents, for the purpose of space management and coordination with other MEP trades and Design Team
- Prepare and revise Electrical installation models in Revit with minimal supervision and make sure all drawings adhere to department standards and procedures
- Prepare electrical model content following electrical code and department standards
- Collaborate and Coordinate with other disciplines through BIM coordination meeting attendance
- Develop 2D Shop Drawings from Revit models for Field Team installation

Other duties may be assigned as needed to support business operations.
Minimum Qualifications
Required:
- Have 3+ years of industry experience in modeling AEC building systems
- Have 3+ years of experience with MEP Coordination using Revit
- Preferably, have 1-3 years of electrical BIM experience
- Bring knowledge of Autodesk software (Revit, Navisworks, Autodesk Point Layout, BIM 360, AutoCAD).
- Possess a High School Diploma or GED, and preferably, an associate degree in Drafting, Design Technology or related field
- Have BIM / VDC experience coordinating with MEP Contractors
- Demonstrate superior communication skills
- Work well in a project team environment, as well as have the capacity to conduct work with minimal supervision or oversight

Colorado Pay Range
$65,000 - $95,000 USD
