Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Schedule, route, and dispatch service technicians
  • The service coordinator will create and compile the schedule for 15 to 30 service technicians daily in several different locations
  • Acts as liaison between clients and company, ensure contracted services are scheduled and completed.
  • Answers client and customer questions and notify clients of scheduled services
  • Addresses and resolves any issues and complaints
  • Reports problems and unresolved issues to manager or account manager
  • Devises ways to improve customer service and client relationships

 

Minimum Qualifications

Required: 

  • Must be able to speak with customers by phone to determine the problem and the solution
  • This is a very detail oriented, customer focused position
  • We have a very fast paced days so be ready to juggle heavy phone volume, emails, as well as directing employees throughout the day.
  • This position can wear many different hats during the day and being able to switch from one to the other quickly and with a positive attitude
  • You must be articulate, be able to keep you cool and give good clear direction to the team.
  • Is capable of remaining patient and calm when dealing with frustrated customers or clients
  • Previous office experience and/or service related position is important.
  • Computer skills to operate a variety of software is necessary.
  • Must have strong written and oral communication skills

Preferred: 

  • Must possess strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Must have the ability to think practically in order to solve office and job-site problems and interface effectively with direct project personnel and senior project personnel
  • Work closely with the Service Manager, Regional Service Support Manager and Account Managers and project team to achieve success

 

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED

 

Experience:

3 + years of experience in an office environment, with a construction company experience preferred.

Experience in dispatching and job costing in the construction, or service industry is helpful.

  • Indoor office setting with controlled temperature.
