Job Summary
The Chief of Staff serves as a strategic partner to the Chief Operating Officer, ensuring alignment between executive priorities and day-to-day execution across the organization. This role acts as a force multiplier for the COO, driving clarity, accountability, and momentum on the company’s most critical initiatives while supporting effective communication, governance, and leadership operations.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Partner closely with the COO to translate strategic priorities into clear, executable project plans with defined milestones, owners, and timelines
- Oversee cross-functional initiatives on behalf of the COO, ensuring progress tracking, accountability, and timely resolution of issues
- Prepare board materials including memos and support coordination of board meetings and follow-up
- Assist with executive communications by drafting, reviewing, and refining internal and external messages, leadership updates, and strategic announcements
- Oversee the company’s leadership calendar to ensure alignment between meetings, priorities, and strategic objectives
- Manage the COO’s schedule with a focus on leverage, preparation, and proactive planning
- Act as a connector across departments to improve communication, alignment, and execution at the executive level
- Support leadership team operating rhythms, including meeting cadence, goal tracking, and accountability structures
- Handle sensitive information with discretion and exercise sound judgment in all interactions
Minimum Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Significant experience in operations, project management, or executive support roles
- Demonstrated success partnering with executive leadership in complex, operationally driven environments
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- High level of discretion, integrity, and professionalism
Preferred:
- Masters of Business Administration
- Experience in construction, industrial services, manufacturing, or other asset-intensive, multi-site organizations
- Experience in high-growth, acquisition-driven environments, including integration leadership
- Experience working with private equity, closely held ownership structures, or sophisticated Boards

Work Environment:
- Indoor office setting with controlled temperature.
