Job Summary
Loenbro is seeking an experienced and innovative Training specialist to join our Learning and Development team at Loenbro University. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-impact training programs that support employee growth and organizational success. The Training Specialist will work closely with leadership, subject matter experts, and employees to create engaging learning experiences that enhance skills, knowledge, and performance.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and facilitate leadership, non-technical, and technical training programs.
- Assess training needs through surveys, interviews, and collaboration with department leaders.
- Create engaging learning materials, including e-learning modules, instructor-led training, job aids, and assessments.
- Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics to continuously improve learning programs.
- Partner with subject matter experts to translate technical content into accessible and engaging training materials.
- Support the administration of the Learning Management System (LMS) to track and manage training programs.
- Ensure all training programs align with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Stay current with best practices in technical learning and instructional design to enhance training initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
Required:
- 2-5 years of experience in education, adult learning, workforce development, or related field.
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Growth mindset when problem-solving and critical thinking.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with LMS or training management software preferred; experience with content and assessment creation tools.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's Degree with emphasis on education, workforce development, adult learning, or related field.
- Experience in construction-related industry.
