Job Summary
The Tool and Material Handler will own tool inventory, maintenance, procurement, and warehouse support for Loenbro’s Cedar Rapids prefabrication and materials operation supporting data center electrical construction. This hands-on role ensures crews and prefabrication teams have the right, safe, and calibrated tools when and where they need them to keep projects on schedule and compliant with quality standards.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate, real-time inventory of hand tools, powered tools, test equipment, and specialty fabrication tools; manage check-in/check-out systems and tool tracking.
- Schedule and perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and calibration for test instruments and powered equipment; coordinate external calibration services when required.
- Source, purchase, and maintain vendor relationships for tools, parts, and consumables; manage tool budgets and track cost trends.
- Help with shipping and receiving as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Required:
- Knowledge of industrial tools and equipment.
- 1+ Years of material or inventory tracking experience.
- Bilingual English and Spanish
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite
- Able to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders and stairs, and stand for extended periods of time.
Preferred:
- Toolhound or tool system program experience.
- Effective at communicating with multiple teams.

- In warehouse, on-site - typical warehouse setting and work environment.
- Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high as in a typical warehouse setting.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
