Job Summary
The Human Resources Administrator supports daily HR operations across field and corporate functions within a construction and data center delivery environment. This role ensures efficient administration of workforce documentation, compliance, onboarding, payroll coordination, and employee lifecycle processes. The HR Administrator plays a critical role in maintaining workforce compliance standards, supporting multi-site project staffing, and ensuring alignment with safety and regulatory requirements typical in mission-critical construction environments.
The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced, project-driven settings and understands the workforce dynamics of construction trades, subcontractor coordination, and data center project environments.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Workforce Administration & Onboarding
- Coordinate onboarding and orientation for field and corporate employees.
- Ensure completion and audit of employment documentation (I-9s, tax forms, certifications, licenses).
- Maintain accurate HRIS records and digital personnel files.
- Support project-based mobilization and demobilization processes.
- Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor regulations.
- Maintain audit-ready employee records for internal and external reviews.
- Pre-Boarding & Regional Workforce Support
- Assist with pre-boarding activities for new hires across assigned regional project sites.
- Coordinate offer documentation, background checks, drug screenings, and employment verifications.
- Facilitate timely distribution and collection of pre-employment paperwork to ensure day-one readiness.
- Partner with project leadership and regional operations teams to confirm start dates, reporting locations, and site-specific requirements.
- Ensure compliance with client, site, and data center security protocols prior to employee start.
- Support workforce ramp-up efforts aligned with project mobilization schedules
- Employee Inquiries & HR Service Support
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee HR-related inquiries (benefits, payroll, timekeeping, leave, policy clarification).
- Respond to employee requests in a timely and professional manner, escalating complex matters as appropriate.
- Provide guidance on company policies, procedures, and available resources.
- Maintain service-level standards to ensure a positive employee experience across regional and field-based teams.
Minimum Qualifications
Required:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Strong organizational skills and document control discipline.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Preferred:
- 2+ years of HR administrative experience, preferably in construction, engineering, or project-based industries.
- Working knowledge of labor compliance, payroll practices, and employment law.
- Experience with HRIS systems and payroll platforms.
- HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP).

Colorado Pay Range
$60,000 - $70,000 USD
