Job Summary
The Change Management & Communications Manager will lead enterprise-wide change management and communication strategies across business and technology initiatives. This role partners with leaders across departments to drive adoption, align stakeholders, and ensure successful execution of transformation efforts.

As part of the Transformation Team, this role bridges the gap between technology and business to enable employee understanding, engagement, and adoption. The ideal candidate will translate complex technology and process changes into clear, actionable communications; lead stakeholder engagement efforts; develop persona-based communication and change strategies; and assess organizational readiness to support effective change.

 

Essential Job Responsibilities

Change Management & Strategy

  • Apply Frameworks: Utilize structured change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci ADKAR) to create scalable strategies for enterprise-wide transformation initiatives.
  • Impact Assessments: Conduct thorough change impact assessments and stakeholder readiness analyses to identify risks, friction points, and training gaps.
  • Build User Engagement and Adoption: Proactively design specific tactics to build partnership with user communities, identify and collaborate with leadership to manage resistance.
  • Define Measures: Establish, track, and report on key measures regarding technology adoption, user satisfaction, and change velocity.

Transformation Communications

  • Content Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive internal communication plans that align with transformation timelines and overarching company goals.
  • Develop Communications: Draft, review, and distribute high-quality communication materials including organization-wide emails, intranet updates, leadership talking points, FAQs, and newsletters.
  • Audience Tailoring: Translate technical documentation related to software deployments into clear, everyday business language for diverse workforces.
  • Executive Presentation: Partner with IT leadership and product owners to build compelling presentations, visual toolkits, and roadmaps for steering committees and executives.

Stakeholder Engagement & Enablement

  • Coaching & Advisory: Act as an advisor to project leaders, functional leaders, and senior stakeholders across the organization to help them effectively lead their teams through transitions.
  • Training Alignment: Collaborate with training specialists and HR to ensure communication strategies perfectly align with user training timelines and learning materials.
  • Feedback Loops: Establish two-way communication channels to capture employee sentiment, gather end-user pain points, and feed insights back to the technical project teams.

 

Minimum Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience leading change management and communications in distributed organization. IT implementations (e.g., ERP upgrades, cloud migrations, digital workspace rollouts).
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and visual presentation skills, with a proven track record of simplifying technical jargon.
  • Proficiency with digital collaboration tools, content management systems (CMS), Microsoft SharePoint, and advanced PowerPoint layout design.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to build trust and navigate competing priorities with senior stakeholders.

Preferred:

  • Change Management Certification (e.g., Prosci, CCMP) is highly preferred.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
