The Payroll Specialist will assist Payroll Manager in processing weekly payroll and maintain accurate time. records.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Enter and reconcile time entries - weekly
  • Reconciles weekly regional payroll.
  • Research paycheck or direct deposits issues.
  • Records and processes Certified Payrolls
  • Tracking Apprenticeship certification documentation.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proficient with Excel, using VLOOKUP and Pivot tables.
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn payroll software.
  • Must have good communication skills.
  • Must have a good understanding of keeping employee records confidential.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Two years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping with at least six months of experience in payroll preferred.
  • Experience with Vista payroll experience preferred

Work Environment:

  • Indoor office setting with controlled temperature.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
  • Potential visits to outdoor industrial sites with exposure to weather extremes.
  • Potential exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, or other environmental factors.
  • Travel requirements: up to 10% of time.

This role requires compliance with all applicable safety regulations, personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, and Loenbro's Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) policies.
