About the role

Location - Chicago Preferred (Hybrid)

Reporting directly to the Head of Talent Acquisition, you will be a part of the People Team. This role is responsible for sourcing, evaluating and identifying top talent aligned to our business strategy and culture & values. , 

The Sr. Recruiter will build and maintain strong candidate pools for current business needs and in anticipation of future business needs. The role serves as an ambassador in the external candidate market and is responsible for clearly articulating the LogicGate employee value proposition, business strategy and opportunity in order to attract the best talent. 

This role partners with hiring managers to communicate the hiring process, support and influence decisions and provide market insights. They will develop strong cross-functional relationships with key partners in finance and the People team to share knowledge, insights, data and stay up to date on the latest People priorities.  

How you’ll spend your time:

Sourcing & Recruiting 

  • Generate and build a pipeline of qualified candidates for a variety of roles with a focus on the Technology and Product teams, including but not limited to software engineers, product managers, IST, product designers, Interns and other Corporate roles up to Director and VP Level. The role will also serve as backup/overflow coverage for go-to-market roles as needed.
  • Oversee and execute the TA process for your client groups from end-to-end, provide training, insights, collect and facilitate candidate feedback using our TA processes and tools 
  • Evaluate and guide candidates through the hiring process, consistently providing a world-class candidate experience
  • Regularly meet with hiring managers and other key stakeholders and cross-functional partners to learn and gain insights on the business areas supported 
  • Create and implement a market mapping strategy focused on specific companies, groups, and profiles aligned to our culture and Company values
  • Regularly source candidates using professional networking platforms and social media sources such as LinkedIn, Built-In, and various networking sites and vendor partnerships including our investor and partner networks 

Relationship Management & Communications 

  • Serve as a Talent Advisor to the hiring managers and interview panelists 
  • Establish regular communication cadence with hiring managers across the org including ongoing meetings for relationship building and ad hoc comms and meetings
  • Establish solid relationships and regularly partner with our HRBPs and Finance team to ensure regular sharing of knowledge, data and insights 
  • Build and maintain knowledge of the external market including competitive landscape to share with and influence hiring managers
  • Serve as ambassador for LogicGate in the market, utilize talking points, comms and materials to communicate our Company strategy, market and employee value proposition.
  • Proactively escalate issues to head of Talent Acquisition 

Systems, Data & Process 

  • Responsible for all candidate logistics including communications and scheduling internal and external meetings
  • Utilize Greenhouse (applicant tracking system) to input and manage all TA data. Ensure accuracy and consistency with interdependent HR and Finance processes. 
  • Identify and implement system and process improvement and integration opportunities
  • Develop innovative recruitment strategies by staying ahead of market trends
  • Create and own weekly, bi-weekly and ad hoc reporting for the team and business leaders
  • Become an expert in TA data, regularly audit reports for accuracy and data integrity
  • Create and maintain our job description database including consistency in templates, candidate & hiring manager communications and process

  • 10+ years of successful full-cycle recruiting experience; experience with Technology & Product roles a plus 
  • International experience a plus
  • Experience in and ability to navigate and excel in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Alignment to and passion for our Company culture & values 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a strong ability to influence using collaboration
  • Self-directed, ability to prioritize, manage competing priorities and shifting projects, and meet deadlines with minimal guidance; ask questions and escalate proactively when needed
  • Proven success of building robust pipelines in different verticals across the business including technical and non-technical roles
  • Comfortable with “cold” outreach, ensuring a strong and positive initial candidate experience, confidently communicating a deep understanding of the company and opportunities
  • Motivated, creative, solutions-focus, to build an organization of top talent
  • Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and other search tools including boolean searches and other creative techniques 
  • Strong project management skills
  • Experience using Slack, Greenhouse ATS and Google Suite is a plus

The anticipated base salary range for the role is $100,00 - $120,000 per year + variable + equity + benefits. Actual salaries may vary and will be based on factors, such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Internal candidates who have current pay within or above the hiring range are still encouraged to apply if interested.
