Position Summary:
We have an immediate opening for a full-time IT Senior Manager working in our Center of Excellence team. You will lead and manage complex strategic sourcing engagements across all IT categories, ensuring business continuity, cost savings delivery, and high levels of supplier performance. This role engages with all relevant client stakeholders and reports directly to the Managing Director, Sourcing & Procurement.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of sourcing strategies that deliver measurable results for our clients across the IT category (i.e., Hardware, Software, IT Services, Telecom, etc.).
- Engage directly with client stakeholders to identify category-specific priorities and challenges, then develop sourcing strategies that effectively address those objectives.
- Assume full ownership of the end-to-end RFP process, including data gathering, RFP development and execution, proposal evaluation, supplier negotiations, results of presentation, and support for client award decisions and supplier/client contracting.
- Lead evaluations of supplier proposals by applying TCO modeling.
- Develop and implement innovative cost-reduction strategies that extend beyond unit price negotiations, including value engineering and demand optimization initiatives.
- Lead research and analytics efforts to validate savings projections and enable more precise supplier negotiations.
- Provide first-rate customer service to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction, internal and external.
- Perform necessary supplier research to stay informed in changing market trends and supplier capabilities.
- Facilitate communication between client business units and suppliers to ensure effective category execution and delivery.
- Build and manage best-in-class supplier ecosystems by category and region.
- Review major contracts and act as a subject matter expert for complex negotiations.
- Monitor and analyze spend, supplier performance, and savings targets at the category and sub-category levels.
- Build and maintain strong relationships at all organizational levels, including C-suite partnerships.
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree is required.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in indirect procurement and strategic sourcing with deep expertise in IT.
- Proven experience developing category strategies and leading large-scale sourcing events.
- Strong background in supplier negotiations.
- Prior experience interfacing with clients and/or stakeholders at all organizational levels, especially within a services industry (e.g., professional consulting, BPO, managed services, outsourcing)
- Demonstrated expertise in TCO modeling and data-driven decision-making.
- Experience driving change management and building cross-functional consensus.
- Experience identifying and implementing value engineering and spec optimization recommendations to reduce total cost without sacrificing quality.
- Strong knowledge of supplier ecosystems serving the IT categories.
- Proficient in MS Office applications, including Excel (analysis) and PowerPoint (presentations).
- Detail oriented with the keen ability to deliver on client expectations, influencing others or escalating as needed to do so.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into business recommendations.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to build relationships and gain credibility in areas beyond defined scope of work.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with commitment to client service.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail.
- Flexible and adaptable in a changing environment; minimal travel required.
Travel: <5% - Some travel to client locations will be required.

NOTE: The listed compensation range reflects the anticipated base pay for this role. Final compensation will be determined based on location, experience, and job-related factors, and may include additional benefits consistent with applicable pay transparency laws.
Pay Range
$97,500 - $190,000 USD
