Position Overview
The Consultant is a key hands-on member of our implementation team, responsible for executing the detailed configuration, testing, and training for our WMS software deployments. This role is ideal for a skilled implementer who excels at turning design specifications into a fully functional solution. Working closely with and taking guidance from Lead and Senior Consultants, you will perform the critical tasks that ensure the WMS is configured accurately to meet client needs and that end-users are thoroughly prepared to use the system effectively.
What You'll Do:
- Hands-On System Configuration: Serve as a primary configuration expert on the project team. Translate functional design documents and requirements provided by Lead/Senior Consultants into precise system settings, workflows, and logic within the WMS.
- System Testing and Quality Assurance: Execute comprehensive test plans, including unit, system, and integration testing, to validate that the configured solution operates according to the design specifications. Meticulously document test results, track defects, and perform regression testing to ensure quality.
- End-User Training Delivery: Deliver hands-on training sessions to client end-users, including warehouse associates, clerks, and supervisors. Guide users through their daily workflows in the new system to ensure they are proficient and confident before go-live.
- Implementation Task Execution: Work under the direction of Lead and Senior Consultants to complete assigned implementation tasks according to the project plan and timeline. Provide support during requirements gathering and documentation activities.
- Go-Live and Post-Go-Live Support: Provide critical on-site or remote support during the go-live phase to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly. Assist with knowledge transfer to the client and our internal support teams after the system is live.
You Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- 2-4 years of experience in implementing WMS or similar supply chain software (e.g., TMS, OMS).
