Senior Manager, Brand Operations
About the Role
Lola Blankets is a fast-growing comfort and lifestyle brand on a mission to make the world a cozier place. We are seeking a Senior Manager, Brand Operations to be the operational right-hand to our VP of Brand Marketing. This will be a highly cross-functional role. At Lola Blankets, Brand Marketing includes social & influencer, community & ambassadors, PR & partnerships, and brand creative (design, production, video, and copy). You will work closely across all of these categories, as well as with our Strategy & Analytics, Integrated Marketing, Growth, and Finance teams.
Core Responsibilities
Brand Marketing Chief of Staff
- Run the operating rhythm for Brand Marketing: prepare the materials (documents + data) for leadership meetings, weekly team syncs, OKR check-ins, quarterly planning and budget reviews
- Build the VP's decks and narratives for executive, board and cross-functional reviews
- Translate brand vision and annual goals into quarterly plans with clear owners, milestones and success measures
- Drive clarity and accountability across the team: track projects, priorities and deadlines, follow up relentlessly, and escalate or re-prioritize when needed
- Keep Brand Marketing in sync with Integrated Marketing, Growth, Product and Commercial so campaigns, launches and calendars line up
- ‘Supercharge’ the effectiveness of every Brand Marketing team member, from the VP on down: Social & Influencer, Community & Ambassadors, PR & Partnerships, and Brand Creative
Champion Metric-Based Marketing
- Gather data, run analysis and generate insights on the questions that move the brand: brand awareness and health, social and influencer performance, earned media, community growth, content output and cost, and spend vs. budget and ROI
- Build and maintain usable dashboards and reporting that bring transparency to performance, resourcing and spend
- Work hand in hand with the BizOps Associate supporting Marketing on analysis, reporting and leadership decks, and partner with Strategy & Analytics and Finance on marketing budget planning, tracking and forecasting
Special Project Ownership
- Identify, prioritize and scope the highest-impact projects for Brand Marketing: define the problem and impact, build the business case, structure the plan, and build internal alignment
- Lead high-priority, cross-functional initiatives and unowned problem areas that fall outside normal department lines
- Stand up new processes and tools (intake, briefing, approvals, resourcing, agency and vendor management) and fix what's broken: “be hands on, don't hand off”
- Measure before-and-after results of every major initiative to ensure lasting improvement
- Jump in to provide leverage across Brand Marketing whenever and however needed
