Patient Services Manager
We are seeking a Patient Services Manager who is passionate about making a difference in our community. Our Patient Services Manager will manage the Program Registration and Benefits Assistance within LSCC clinics and service lines, supporting sustainable operations by ensuring appropriate program registration, eligibility and enrollment processes. This role manages eligibility and enrollment activities to secure appropriate participation in safety net programs, including Medicaid, CHIP, MAP, MAP Basic, and the Federal Health Insurance Marketplace. The Patient Services Manager drives team performance by ensuring Program Advisors, Benefits Specialists, and Enrollment Counselors consistently meet productivity metrics and organizational goals. This position will be required to travel to LSCC facilities as needed.

A Day in the Life of a Patient Services Manager may look like this:
- Provide coverage and operational support by collaborating closely with the Patient Services team
- Monitor patient services operations and communicate operational insights, performance concerns, and process improvement recommendations to leadership
- Communicate program updates and changes clearly, effectively, and promptly across the organization
- Partner with Clinic Management to develop staff work schedules and assignments based on hours of operation, workload, space, and equipment availability
- Resolve conflicts and address patient escalations in a timely and professional manner
- Prepare, maintain, and distribute daily, weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports as assigned
- Monitor departmental software/technology performance and report technical issues, as necessary
- Attend and actively participate in required meetings, training, and conferences
- Oversee Program Registration and Benefits Assistance policies and procedures to ensure accuracy and relevance to current practice
- Manage the Verify Source system in collaboration with Network Sciences, ensuring data accuracy and timely updates
- Develop and deliver formal presentations on departmental statistics and updates regularly
- Lead staff training, ensuring materials and protocols are up-to-date and consistently followed
- Conduct one-on-one training and coaching when performance gaps or individual deficiencies are identified
- Contribute to staff performance evaluations and provide input on individual and team development
- Identify and pursue opportunities to improve patient and staff experiences through more efficient and effective practices
- Participate in professional development and performance improvement initiatives to support departmental and organizational effectiveness
- Promote and utilize company recognition programs to foster staff retention and engagement
- Perform other duties as assigned.
We ask our Patient Services Manager to possess a minimum of:
- High School diploma or GED
- One (1) year of experience in healthcare
The following experience/skills are preferred:
- Associate degree or higher in Business Administration or a related discipline
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a range of health care assistance programs
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in program eligibility or related human-services work
- Medical program application completion and enrollment experience
- Bilingual English/Spanish language skills
