About the Role:

Longmark Group is expanding into mortgage origination and hiring our first Mortgage Loan Office / Mortgage Account Executive. Because this is a founding role, this will be a hybrid sales and operations role. Commission will be offered as a fixed fee per loan basis in year one. We are looking for someone entrepreneurial, start-up oriented, and eager to sell and contribute to broader MLO operations. This role can be remote or based in New York City. Candidates must be Qualified Individuals with an active NMLS license.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the company’s lead loan officer for SFR investor and consumer-purpose loans
  • Own and manage the sales pipeline: generate leads, cultivate referral relationships, and foster high-quality opportunities
  • Collaborate with partners and internal teams to structure and close loans
  • Expand and manage relationships with repeat investor clients
  • Help define and hit monthly loan origination targets
  • Ensure full compliance with company policies and regulatory standards
  • Help shape our lending playbook: inform product development, build scalable sales processes, and provide feedback on pricing and underwriting
  • Represent the company externally—build partnerships, attend events, and help grow our brand in the investor and mortgage communities

Over time, there could be opportunity to take on broader leadership responsibilities including P&L ownership, state-by-state expansion, and team management as Head of Mortgage

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience as a licensed Mortgage Loan Originator
  • Must hold an active NMLS license and qualify as a Qualified Individual (QI) in at least one state
  • Proven track record originating SFR investor loans
  • Strong familiarity with LOS systems (e.g., Arrive, Encompass, LendingPad) and CRM tools (Salesforce a plus)
  • Knowledge of underwriting standards and loan structuring best practices
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Experience in a startup or fast-paced lending environment is a strong plus
  • Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently and hit goals in a dynamic setting

Why Join Longmark Group?

At Longmark Group, our innovative strategies and culture empower every team member to make meaningful contributions and drive exceptional outcomes for investors and communities alike. Joining Longmark means joining a company that values expertise, collaboration, and a commitment to excellence.

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
