We’re building the world’s largest alternative asset manager the smart way and are seeking dynamic professionals who want to be part of this journey.

We’re looking for a VP of Finance to own treasury and FP&A for Longmark (American Secure Living Inc) and its related and affiliated entities, along with the corporate accounting function that feeds both.

This is a cross-functional role tied to the long-term financial health of the platform. You’ll manage liquidity across a large and growing set of real estate entities, build the operating plan and forecast the company runs on, and be the person who understands how cash, capital, and reported results move through an OpCo-PropCo structure.

You’ll report directly to the CFO, manage a domestic and offshore accounting team alongside an FP&A function, and partner daily with capital markets, fund accounting, asset management, and divisional leadership.

What you’ll do

Treasury and cash management

  • Review cash daily across all bank accounts, and manage ASL Inc’s holdings to optimize interest earned against the minimum working capital required to fund operations.
  • Own equity and debt financing for all real estate entities, partnering with Capital Markets so daily and weekly funding requirements are met.
  • Own the cash control framework in tandem with the Corporate Controller.
  • Evaluate constraints on liquidity and work with capital markets, post-close, asset management, and fund accounting so capital is planned for and allocated ahead of need.
  • Own the CapEx draw process and covenant reporting, including timely ingestion of data tapes into LMT post-draw.
  • Partner with fund accounting to reconcile and settle intercompany balances monthly.
  • Manage and mentor the treasury associate team (currently a team of 1).

FP&A

  • Deliver the annual operating plan and operating model, quarterly reforecasts, and long-range plan in collaboration with the CFO and divisional leadership.
  • Provide GAAP and non-GAAP monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and KPI reporting to internal stakeholders.
  • Own the workforce model and scaling factor inputs that drive compensation planning across the entire organization.
  • Own and further develop the planning tool (Vena).
  • Deliver ad-hoc analysis that supports strategic decision making.
  • Manage and mentor the financial analyst team (currently a team of 1).

Corporate accounting

  • Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close for ASL Inc and its subsidiaries, including management of external audit and tax workflows (e.g. R&D credit study).
  • Manage a team of domestic and offshore associates across AP, AR, and GL accounting.
  • Administer NetSuite in tandem with the NS Administrator - chart of accounts, allocations and scripts, integrations - and own the overall design, functionality, and integrity of the ERP.
  • Maintain strong internal controls across corporate accounting, including appropriate segregation of duties.

Investor relations

  • Deliver accurate financial statements and narratives to investors within 45 days of quarter close
  • Work with C-level leaders to synthesize data points on their functions that support the financial statements.

Product, technology, and data

  • Own and deliver the finance product roadmap and prioritization - where to invest in tooling and process to enhance the productivity and workflows of the finance and accounting teams.
  • Regularly evaluate manual tasks for process optimization within the existing stack (NetSuite, Celigo, Vena).
  • Ensure prompt sync and validation of closed financials across all real estate vehicles.

Leadership and impact

  • Manage and lead a high performing team.
  • Champion systems and process modernization; lead implementations and change management.
  • Translate complex analysis and topics for non-finance stakeholders across the organization.
  • Ensure decision making is data driven and rooted in accountability, and uphold a culture of integrity, ownership, and continuous improvement.

What you bring

  • 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience in a multi-entity business, with meaningful time in treasury and FP&A.
  • Direct treasury experience - daily cash positioning, liquidity planning, debt and equity funding mechanics, covenant reporting, and partnering with a capital markets function.
  • Direct FP&A experience - operating plans, reforecasts, long-range planning, variance analysis, and the KPI reporting and narrative used by executives, the board, and institutional investors.
  • Working knowledge of OpCo-PropCo structures and the interconnectivity of financial management across them; real estate or SFR experience strongly preferred.
  • Corporate accounting depth - consolidated financial statements, intercompany accounting, and close for a multi-entity group. CPA (or equivalent) preferred; public accounting background a plus.
  • Advanced modeling, analysis, and storytelling skills; investment banking background a plus.
  • Fluency in a modern finance tech stack - NetSuite, Vena, and Celigo specifically - with the ability to own ERP design and integrity rather than simply consume it.
  • Proven ability to build, manage, and develop accounting and FP&A teams, including offshore resources.
  • Excellent communication skills - able to translate complex financial concepts for the CFO, investors, and cross-functional partners.
  • Preferred - Investment banking experience.

Why Join Longmark Group?

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
