Head of Product Marketing

San Francisco, CA

About Loop

Loop is on a mission to unlock profits trapped in the supply chain and lower costs for consumers. Bad data and inefficient workflows create friction that limits working capital and raises costs for every supply chain stakeholder.

Loop’s modern audit and pay platform uses our domain-driven AI to harness the complexity of supply chain data and documentation. We improve transportation spend visibility so companies can control their costs and power profit. That is why industry leaders like J.P. Morgan Chase, Great Dane, Emerge, and Loadsmart work with Loop.

Our investors include J.P. Morgan, Index Ventures, Founders Fund, 8VC, Susa Ventures, Flexport, and 50 industry-leading angel investors. Our team brings subject matter expertise from companies like Uber, Google, Flexport, Meta, Samsara, Intuit, Rakuten, and long-standing industry leaders like C.H. Robinson.

About the Role

Loop is seeking a strategic, hands-on Head of Product Marketing to build and scale the function from the ground up. You’ll define Loop’s product marketing vision—owning positioning, messaging, buyer insights, and product launches—and drive execution across the full customer lifecycle.

Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing, you will work closely with product, sales, growth, and customer success teams to ensure our story is clear, differentiated, and driving growth. This is a critical role with high visibility and high impact.

If you excel at making the complex simple, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and want to leave your mark on a category-defining company, we’d love to meet you.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic leadership

  • Own the end-to-end product marketing function: positioning, messaging, launch strategy, buyer insights, and enablement
  • Build and refine core messaging frameworks, buyer personas, and value propositions to support marketing, sales, and customer success
  • Lead competitive intelligence efforts and translate insights into differentiated positioning and GTM strategies
  • Manage analyst relations, helping shape Loop’s market perception while synthesizing feedback to inform GTM and product roadmaps
  • Partner with the product team to translate complex capabilities into clear, market-facing narratives and launch strategies
  • Own pricing and packaging strategy in collaboration with product and finance leadership

Content and enablement

  • Create compelling content across the buyer journey: sales decks, case studies, battlecards, one-pagers, blogs, ROI calculators, and whitepapers
  • Build and scale customer marketing programs, including customer newsletters, advocacy programs, and win/loss initiatives
  • Enable the revenue organization with high-impact tools, narratives, and product insights to accelerate pipeline generation and conversion

Growth and measurement

  • Define success metrics for product marketing initiatives; measure and report on their impact across pipeline, velocity, adoption, and retention
  • Analyze customer, market, and performance data to continuously refine messaging, programs, and GTM alignment

What success looks like

  • Consistent adoption of messaging across sales, marketing, and customer success teams
  • Clear improvements in brand awareness, lead quality, pipeline velocity, and customer expansion
  • Stronger market positioning and a differentiated voice
  • Proactive analyst engagement shaping both external perception and internal strategy

Requirements

Experience

  • 8+ years of B2B product marketing experience, preferably in enterprise SaaS
  • Proven success building and scaling product marketing functions in high-growth environments
  • Expertise in developing strategic narratives and executing high-quality deliverables end-to-end
  • Hands-on experience managing analyst relations and integrating insights into GTM and product planning
  • Strong background partnering with product, revenue, and executive teams to drive GTM alignment
  • Familiarity with marketing and CRM systems (HubSpot preferred)
  • Experience simplifying technical products (AI, data, logistics, or fintech focus a plus)

Skills

  • Exceptional communicator—written, visual, and verbal
  • Strategic thinker with operational rigor and bias for action
  • High degree of ownership, initiative, and accountability
  • Naturally collaborative, resourceful, and solutions-oriented

Benefits & Perks

  • Premium Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance plans
  • Insurance premiums covered 100% for you
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Generous professional development budget to feed your curiosity
  • Physical and Mental fitness subsidies for yoga, meditation, gym, or ski memberships
