Microsoft 365/SharePoint Administrator
Job Description:
LTS is seeking a MicroSoft 365 & SharePoint Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize our Microsoft 365 environment, with several hundred users who are managed under an enterprise structure aligned within the Community Care Product Line at the Department of Veteran Affairs. This position is fully remote.
The VA Health Portfolio is focused on development and execution of quality IT projects that address the needs of Veterans and health care providers through management of health care information and sustainment of production software to keep the mission going.
The Health Services Program Management Office (PMO) support contract provides IT program management, project management, technical management, financial management, functional planning, and documentation analysis in support of the Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO) Enterprise Program Management Division (EPMD) Health Portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Works with end users to diagnose and resolve technical issues and identify needs and implement solutions in Teams, SharePoint and MS 365 environment.
- Collaborate with Help Desk and other IT teams to resolve incidents and service requests.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and training materials.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to promote effective use of M365 tools.
- Develop and maintain Power Automate flows and Power Apps for business process automation.
- Integrate SharePoint with other M365 services and third-party tools.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, Operations Research or related fields.
- 5+ years of relevant experience (5+ years of additional experience may be substituted for education).
- Dept of VA or U.S. Government contracting experience required.
- Demonstrated ability to manage, configure, and troubleshoot SharePoint and Teams environments, including distribution lists and memberships.
- Skilled in designing, implementing, and maintaining workflows and automations using Microsoft Power Automate to streamline business processes and enhance productivity.
- Knowledgeable in implementing security best practices and ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements within the M365 and SharePoint environments.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Active Directory (AD) and Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), including user and group management, authentication protocols, and policy enforcement.
- Proficiency in administering the full suite of Microsoft 365 applications, specifically Teams and Exchange.
- Demonstrated ability to create, manage, and optimize Power BI reports and dashboards, integrating data from various sources to provide actionable insights.
Security Clearance Requirements:
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Veterans Affairs Public Trust.
