The Role

The Senior Financial Analyst will empower our Capital Markets Advisory team to use sophisticated analytics to support client deliverables and internal projects. This individual will champion data-driven decision-making, and will jump at the opportunity to use a variety of data sources to answer difficult questions. This is a great opportunity to leverage strong analytical skills and creative problem-solving through research to support clients to execute against the long-term.

 

You are:

  • Adept at using FactSet to analyze individual companies, sectors, and macro-economic topics (e.g. inflation, interest rates, geo-political tensions).
  • Ready to use advanced Excel skills, to design new or creative analyses to support day to day operations.
  • Comfortable applying quantitative and analytical skills to market data.
  • Experienced at interpreting data, drawing key conclusions, and turning data sets into easily digestible, customer-facing materials (slides, graphics).
  • Skilled at using SQL and Python for financial and/or data analysis; experience creating analysis and outputs with Jupyter Notebooks.
  • Ready to collaborate with a data engineer to automate analysis.

 

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • 3+ years of professional working experience, ideally at an investment bank.
  • Advanced knowledge of financial and capital markets data.
  • The ability to communicate complex quantitative analysis in a clear, precise, and actionable manner.
  • “Always Be Learning” mentality.

 

Nice to haves:

  • Work experience with FactSet and SEC data.
  • You are curious and practice operating with a beginner's mindset.
  • Have creativity to create novel analysis and algorithms.

 

LTSE's Compensation Philosophy 

LTSE is focused on supporting diversity, equity, inclusion and creating a new standard for how other companies should reward their employees. In order to support equitable pay and ensure there’s no bias in our compensation process, our philosophy is based on the work being performed. To determine the compensation for the role, we take into consideration knowledge, job complexity, and level of experience. We use a data-driven, blended rate approach to ensure we are paying competitively among our peers by benchmarking to companies of similar size and stage, and hire at the 50th percentile (midpoint) of the salary range. 

We review all employee pay and compensation programs annually using multiple databases including Pave, Radford, McLagan, and other peer sets, to ensure competitive and fair pay.

The target salary range for this role is $120,000-$170,000 with an anticipated midpoint of $145,000. Compensation is part of a total rewards package, including stock options and benefits
