Goal of This Role
The goal of this role is to enhance operational efficiency, data connectivity, and digital reliability across the organization by designing and maintaining seamless system integrations and robust IT infrastructure. This position plays a key role in modernizing legacy processes, enabling cross-departmental collaboration, and ensuring the scalability and security of the company’s technology ecosystem. By aligning technical capabilities with business objectives, the IT Systems Specialist will drive the successful adoption of integrated systems that support continuous improvement and long-term growth in a manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Do
- Design and implement integrations between cloud-based and on-premises systems, including ERP, CRM, and HRIS platforms.
- Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, HR, and Engineering to understand workflows and deliver aligned technical solutions.
- Act as a liaison between IT and other departments to ensure smooth adoption and support of system changes.
- Lead and support IT projects such as system upgrades, migrations, and new technology rollouts.
- Document integration architecture, technical workflows, and configuration details for ongoing reference and training.
- Manage and troubleshoot IT infrastructure including servers, networks, cloud environments, and endpoints.
- Implement and uphold cybersecurity protocols, data privacy, and regulatory compliance standards (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001).
- Provide advanced (tier-2/3) support for complex technical issues and user challenges.
- Identify opportunities for automation and optimization, and implement tools or scripts to improve operational efficiency.
- Monitor system performance and proactively resolve errors or performance bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with external vendors and consultants to execute projects and ensure successful outcomes.

Qualifications
- Proficient in Windows and macOS environments, Microsoft 365, and basic networking concepts.

- Ability to diagnose and resolve common technical issues independently.
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure components including networks, cloud services, and cybersecurity principles.
- Demonstrated experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and communicating technical information effectively.
- Familiarity with enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, HRIS, and their integration strategies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
