About Lucid Bots
Lucid Bots is the leading U.S. AI robotics manufacturer of exterior cleaning drones and robotics for commercial and government applications. Since 2018, we've been building the world's most productive and responsible robots to tackle critical maintenance challenges. With industry-leading engineering and dedicated customer support, we've enabled operators to generate over $75 million in revenue, with a fleet of over 500 robots deployed to accomplish dull, dirty, and dangerous jobs with safety and efficiency.
Our mission is simple: extend human reach.
Headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, we design, engineer, manufacture, and support our products in the United States. Our production-ready robots are deployed by customers around the world — from global enterprises to independent owner-operators — to improve safety, increase productivity, and elevate operational standards.
We are one of the fastest-growing manufacturing companies in the United States, recently ranked fourth nationally, and we just closed a $20M Series B to fuel our next chapter at the intersection of AI, hardware, and real-world impact. Backed by leading investors including Y Combinator (S19), Cubit Capital, Idea Fund Partners, Danu Ventures, and others, we're scaling quickly.
We're building more than robots—we're building the future of physical AI.
Our Core Values and How We Work Together
At Lucid Bots, we’re building something extraordinary - and how we work matters just as much as what we build. These values guide how we hire, grow, and show up for one another.
-
Expedition Behavior - We climb as one. No silos, no “that’s not my job.” We protect the team and share the load.
-
Grow with Humility - We’re relentless learners. We seek feedback, own mistakes, and get better every day.
-
Lift People Up - Humans come first. We care fiercely, speak honestly, and design for real people in real conditions.
-
Build the Extraordinary - We take ownership, reject the ordinary, and run toward hard problems.
We live Above the Line: we take responsibility, create solutions, and shape the future.
If these values energize you, you’ll thrive here. If they feel like too much, this may not be the right climb - and that’s okay.
Goal of This Role
Lucid Bots is growing fast, and every hire matters. The Talent Acquisition Specialist owns full-cycle recruiting across the company — sourcing, closing, and pre-boarding the people who make our growth real. You'll run the requisitions, manage the ATS, partner with hiring managers, and make every search feel sharp. When the recruiting queue breathes, you'll roll up your sleeves on talent development work that helps the people we've already hired keep growing. This is a recruiter job today with a clear runway into broader People Ops tomorrow.
What You'll Do
- Run full-cycle searches across manufacturing, GA, commercial, and early technical roles — 5 to 10 open reqs at a time
- Source actively through LinkedIn, referrals, and targeted outreach — don't wait for inbound to save the day
- Partner with hiring managers on intake, scorecards, and debriefs; push back respectfully when a spec or process won't land the candidate they want
- Screen every candidate against both role requirements and Lucid Bots' Culture Code
- Run Greenhouse like you own it — pipeline hygiene, stage accuracy, and weekly reporting the Director can actually rely on
- Support offer delivery and candidate close, with the Director of People Ops leading offer strategy
- Own the candidate experience from signed offer through Day 1 — offer letters, background checks, I-9/E-Verify, equipment, accounts, and a pre-boarding experience that feels intentional
- Contribute to talent development work during lower-volume recruiting windows — Career Framework rollout support, onboarding refinement, manager enablement, internal mobility coordination
Who You Are
- You've run 3–5 years of full-cycle recruiting, with at least 2 of those years in-house at a company under 200 people
- You've closed a mix of role types — bonus points if manufacturing, operations, or early technical are on your résumé
- You can run 5–10 open reqs without the wheels coming off
- You've lived inside a modern ATS (Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, or comparable) and you treat clean data as a reflex, not a chore
- You're a clear communicator — in a meeting, in writing, and in a spreadsheet
- You want to grow beyond pure recruiting over time; talent development, L&D, and broader People Ops work excites you
- You're coachable and curious — you take direction well, ask sharp questions, and don't need to be told the same thing twice
- You're comfortable in a scaling company where process is evolving, not fixed
What We Expect You to Achieve in This Role
- Close 25–35 hires in your first 12 months with an offer acceptance rate at or above 80%
- Keep time-to-fill under 45 days for backfills and under 60 days for new roles
- Get Greenhouse clean, current, and audit-ready within 60 days — and keep it that way
- Deliver a weekly pipeline and metrics report the Director of People Ops can rely on, starting Month 2
- Build a pre-boarding experience where new hires hit Day 1 ready to contribute — not just badged and logged in
- Contribute to at least two talent development initiatives during lower-volume recruiting periods
