Head of Charging
We are currently seeking a leader in Charging Infrastructure and Smart Energy Systems. This position requires an experienced engineering professional with a wide background and knowledge base in charging hardware and communications systems, EVSEs, CPOs, e-roaming platforms, V1/2G, stationary storage, home energy management systems, policy and marketing.

Responsibilities:
• Lead EV charging strategy, direction, and team, working along multiple teams in a matrix organization with software, hardware and other disciplines such as UX and programs.
• Lead product vision of all vehicle charging attributes and feature list including experience design, user emotion, physical and digital interaction.
• Build, mentor, and lead a team focusing on EV charging and smart energy products.
• Lead and conduct marketing, benchmarking data analysis, online research, UX studies for optimal, seamless charging experience.
• Lead strategic partnerships and operational initiatives for charging solutions with multiple charging networks and eMSP providers.
• Lead NACS integration with Tesla Supercharger network.
• Evaluate and lead decisions regarding charging solutions including in-house vs external charging solutions.
• Identify and track infrastructure trends, new systems/processes, upcoming standards, competitor benchmarking, and infrastructure utilization trends, and optimize EV charging experience accordingly.
• Track and analyze hardware, software, and backend requirements for current and next generation charging equipment ensuring compatibility with Lucid vehicles globally.
• Create product definitions and requirements for smart energy products including bi-directional systems for V2V, V2L, V2H and V2G.
• Ensure technical interoperability and regulatory compliance with charging infrastructure, standards, protocol requirements, and certifications.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive reporting and analytics program to track the performance of Lucid’s vehicle fleet and improve charging experience accordingly.
Qualifications:
•Strong technical background in charging technologies, communications protocols and networks
•Deep knowledge in charging standards in different regions of the world
•Experience in power electronics and system integration
•Strong understanding of power systems around the world
•Language proficiency in English
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Base Pay Range (Annual)
$188,100 - $313,500 USD
