Serviceability Technician, Fremont
We are currently seeking Serviceability Technicians. This position requires an experienced professional with a strong background in diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of vehicles as well as a passion for working in demanding environments.
The Role
· Create and develop service documents (service manual procedures, containments, technical bulletins, and campaigns)
· Become a technical expert in Lucid vehicles
· Diagnose, maintain, and repair Lucid Motors vehicles
· Collaborate with technical training to create technician training material & publications
· Work closely with Design engineers and identify potential assembly and service issues
· Work efficiently within a multidisciplinary cooperative environment
· Validate repair procedures for accuracy (Repair procedures, labor time, diagnosis, etc.)
· Improve service procedures without compromising safety and quality
· Perform tooling validation prior to being release to the field
· Support cross functional teams and assist with preproduction vehicle builds
· Assist with cost analyst impact on serviceability methods and processes
· Support and proactively collaborate with Service Engineering, Field Service, Technical Publications, Service Parts, and Service Training
· Support campaigns and containment initiatives

· Exceptional ability to interface and collaborate with individuals, groups, and vendors
· Proficient in navigating a laptop or computer in a windows environment
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with the ability to effectively navigate internal business platforms
· Experience using test tools
· An innate drive to maintain product and company reputation, always complying with company communications policies
· Excellent communication skills

· 5+ years of automotive experience
· 2+ years of EV experience
- High school diploma or GED required
· Must possess a valid driver’s license
· Strong diagnostic experience
Advantageous Experience:
· OEM Certified Master Technician
· EPA 609 Certification
· Automotive Technology/Technician Degree or equivalent experience
· 3D CAD experience is a plus
· Startup experience
· Experience supporting service procedures creation and validation
· Experience in luxury automobile repair environments
· Fabrication experience
· Ability to drive non-commercial truck and trailer
Base Pay Range (hourly)
$32 - $41 USD
