Intern, Technical Program Manager, Summer 2025
We are currently seeking an Intern, Product and Program Management. This position requires an experienced professional with a passion for EV, and the ability to run and configure tests. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly, and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
· Assist in establishing and defining Product Vision, Strategy, and Roadmaps
· Experience in writing Use Cases / User Stories with technical requirements and prioritizing the backlog
· Ability to lead with influence, manage feature planning activities, and identifying critical milestones
· Adopted data-driven quantitative and qualitative methods for solving and analyzing customer problems.
· Work as a product owner/scrum master within a software development team
· Analytical, self-motivated & committed with a high level of responsibility
· Design metrics, reports, and dashboards
· Independently work on process and product documentation
· Influence technical decisions in working with large, cross-functional teams.
· Assist in communicating product vision, features, and priorities, to our stakeholders via launch announcements, release notes, brown bags, seminars, user training
· Work with the UX/UI team as required to design features/products
Qualifications:
· Experience or theoretical knowledge of Product or Program Management on technical cross-functional projects
· Experience in Infotainment, systems engineering, data analysis, and business intelligence
· Great ability to identify and translate emerging trends and customer needs into workable product proposals
· Work with engineering groups on a day-to-day basis
· Zeal to learn new things and make a difference
· Knowledge of Jama, Atlassian Jira, Confluence, and project management tools
· Knowledge of Agile project execution and Agile iterative process
· Good at facilitating discussions/workshops to determine the feasibility of product/feature proposals
· Able to work as a feature owner on a scrum team
Education:
Field(s) of study: Engineering, Computer Science or Related Major
· Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD Degree program at an accredited university.
· Will consider undergrads Junior level or above Pursuing Bachelor’s or master’s degree
· Proof of enrollment in current or into next program (MS, PhD)
Program Information:
- Timing: May- August, or June-September pending class schedules.
- Duration of Internship: Our internship program is 12 weeks; the end date is flexible based on individual needs.
- Work Location & Environment: This position will be in Newark, CA, and is fully in-person. You must be prepared to start onsite for your first day of employment. The working environment will be a mix of lab & office work.
- Compensation: Student compensation is based on location and current degree level, non-negotiable ranging from $48 to $66.
- Relocation: May be provided on a case to case basis.
- Housing/Transportation: You must provide your own living arrangements and transportation in the local area.
- Background Check: All offers of employment are contingent on clearing a background check.
- Drug Screening: All offers of employment are contingent on passing a drug screen.
- Medical benefits: Dental, vision, and medical on day 1 for all interns working full-time.
- Visa Sponsorship: Lucid may but is not obligated to sponsor foreign national employees requiring company sponsorship for U.S employment authorization.
Base Pay Range (hourly)
$48 - $66 USD
