Intern, Manufacturing EOL Engineering, Summer 2025
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Summer Intern to join our Manufacturing EOL Team and work alongside our engineers who are not allowing supporting the needs of production but also continuously improving our test methods to improve quality of the car. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Manufacturing and be able to work independently and collaboratively to ensure our systems are functioning efficiently.
Role/Responsibilities:
- Work with cross-functional teams to improve our vehicle EOL testing and detection
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to team projects as needed
- Develop automation tools to make daily process’s more efficient
- Assist senior engineers in analyzing test results and identifying areas for improvement
- Communicate regularly with senior engineers and other team members to provide progress updates and receive feedback
Preferred Qualifications:
- Field(s) of study: Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD Degree program at an accredited university.
- Proof of enrollment in current or into next program (MS, PhD)
- Experience in SAE team and/or automotive
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Program Information:
- Timing: May- August, or June-September pending class schedules.
- Duration of Internship: Our internship program is 12 weeks; the end date is flexible based on individual needs.
- Work Location & Environment: This position will be in Casa Grande, AZ, and is fully in-person. You must be prepared to start onsite for your first day of employment. The working environment will be a mix of lab & office work.
- Compensation: Student compensation is based on location and current degree level, non-negotiable ranging from $34to $48.
- Relocation: May be provided on a case to case basis.
- Housing/Transportation: You must provide your own living arrangements and transportation in the local area.
- Background Check: All offers of employment are contingent on clearing a background check.
- Drug Screening: All offers of employment are contingent on passing a drug screen.
- Medical benefits: Dental, vision, and medical on day 1 for all interns working full-time.
- Visa Sponsorship: Lucid may but is not obligated to sponsor foreign national employees requiring company sponsorship for U.S employment authorization.
Base Pay Range (hourly)
$34 - $48 USD
