Sr. Field Quality Technician
We are looking for a Sr. Field Quality Technician with extensive knowledge in diagnosing, maintaining, repairing vehicles, and supporting or leading root cause analysis of suspect vehicle components. Ideal candidates will demonstrate an "anything is possible" attitude and approach their work with drive and determination. You Will:
- A.S.E. certified automotive technician
- Become a technical expert of Lucid vehicles
- Diagnose, maintain, repair and support upgrades of Lucid Motors engineering test vehicles
- Follow correct work order documentation procedures
- Demonstrate analytical thinking. Gather relevant information, identify key issues, compare data from various sources to draw appropriate conclusions
- Demonstrate critical thinking skills, and decision making. Make prompt, informed decisions that consider the objectives, facts, constraints, impacts, and risks
- Demonstrate teamwork and collaboration. Effectively communicate and collaborate within the field quality team, and members of other departments including engineering, manufacturing, supplier quality, service, and management
- Document findings from root cause analysis of component failures
- Validate containment actions, permanent corrective actions, engineering change requests, and software
- Support campaigns, and containment initiatives
- Will be working with air power tools, electric power tools, grinders, drills, sockets, wrenches, torque wrenches, lifting equipment
- Retain confidentiality of testing, procedures, and data
- Maintain cleanliness of workspace, test equipment, and inventory of related parts
- Drive vehicles to evaluate vehicle health status
- Must be reliable, resourceful, and take full ownership of assigned responsibilities
You Bring:
- Automotive technician degree, certification, or equivalent work experience
- Must have a minimum of 4 years or related automotive experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- ASE Certified (preferred)
- EPA 609 Certified (preferred)
- Previous OEM Master Technician Certification (preferred)
- Working knowledge of CAN bus communications and ethernet protocols
- Knowledge of High Voltage systems, Low Voltage systems, and Electric Vehicle powertrains
- Ability to use basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office as well as learn proprietary software
- Must possess a valid driver’s license (required)
- Forklift license (plus)
- AA/BS in automotive technology (plus)
- Previous experience with EV diagnosis and repair (plus)
Base Pay Range (hourly)
$37 - $51 USD
