As a Studio Manager within a Lucid Sales Studio, your primary responsibility will be to directly manage, coach, develop and support a sales team with the successful articulation and delivery of the Lucid brand and ownership experience.  This role will report directly to the Market Leader to lead the studio team and processes that enable the studio to achieve their sales targets.

BUSINESS HEALTH

  • Coach and motivate the sales team to meet sales, test drives, delivery, and productivity goals
  • Demonstrate sales leadership by role-playing and having an active presence in customer-facing locations
  • Train and develop team on sales, financing and delivery processes
  • Analyze data to determine optimal business strategies
  • Set individual goals for your team, ensuring processes and routines are conducive to building pipeline and creating owners in order to reach studio goals
  • Ensure the team is fluent in all aspects of Lucid product knowledge and relevant automotive industry offerings, and competitive landscape
  • Drive for excellence in all areas of business focused on reaching expectations for the respective location

 EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT

  • Provide targeted coaching, skill development for Sales Specialists and Brand Ambassadors to excel in performance metrics with weekly one-on one meetings
  • Recruitment, training and development of a high performing and customer focused team, ensuring all positions are filled in a timely manner
  • Provide leadership, direction and coach all members of the Sales Team to ensure a seamless experience for customers and all members of the Lucid community.
  • Develop inclusive, diverse, and high performing teams through defining efficient processes and developing the sales team through teaching moments.
  • Sets sales goals, timelines, and target lists for Sales Specialists and tracks results to ensure timely execution on lead generation and/or market Initiatives.
  • Demonstrates a confidence in operations and planning all aspects of the business including developing monthly sales attainment plans and communication of results to team.
  • Manages leads, appointments, reservations and motivates a team to deliver results by communicating company initiatives and engaging team through effective coaching, performance management and training.

 CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE

  • Responsible for ensuring all employees provide best-in-class experience in every interaction on the studio floor, in test drives, and through actively following up on leads
  • Empower and guide employees through challenging customer concerns, to make decisions in the customers’ best interest while also supporting Lucid’s mission
  • Also acts as a Senior Sales Advisor, handling high-potential customers
  • Clientele management for VIP customers
  • Your hands-on leadership will assist in coaching and training your sales team to deliver an exceptional experience that touches both the heart and mind of the customer.

 STUDIO OPERATIONS

  • Own the operations within the studio to ensure the customer journey is frictionless and seamless from reservation through to delivery. 
  • Supervise merchandising product inventory and display
  • Manage and coordinate Studio team scheduling.
  • Partner with Retail Operations and coordinate with vendors and service providers as needed
  • Ensure facility maintenance and showroom presentation adhere to the brand standards
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment where innovation is inevitable, and change is expected.
  • Assist with daily operations as needed

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of store management experience in retail, luxury or hospitality.
  • Automotive sales management experience preferred
  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, sales, or related discipline.
  • Experience with leading a team of sales focused professionals that can deliver an achievement of their targets.
  • Experience making data driven decisions and holding team accountable to KPI’s
  • Extensive experience and ability to lead a team that fosters an inclusive and collaborative environment.
  • Acts with urgency and champions excellence in all company objectives.
  • Proficient in English with a secondary language skill set being a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, CRM tools (i.e. Salesforce) and retail business systems.
  • Demonstrates a passion for electric vehicles and premium vehicle markets.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends in a retail environment
  • Valid driver’s license with no suspensions within the past year and obtain DMV Salesperson License.
  • Physical requirements include the ability to twist, bend, squat, reach, and stand for extended periods of time with or without reasonable accommodation.
