Parts Advisor - Body Repair Program
The on-time and accurate supply of ordered parts to the Lucid Approved Body Repair Network is critical to achieving best in class customer service at a critical time in vehicle ownership. We are looking for a Body Repair Program Parts Operations Manager that will be responsible for ensuring the supply of parts to the Lucid Approved Repair Network is seamless and does not delay the repair of Lucid vehicles. The role objectives will be achieved before the launch of the Lucid Air and maintained/optimized continuously as the brand/program grows.
The Body Repair Parts Advisor position will oversee parts operations for Lucid’s Certified Body Shop Network and provide the highest level of external and internal customer satisfaction while maximizing return on investment through parts sales, inventory control, and expense control. This position acts as the primary liaison between the Body Shop and the warehouse. The Parts Advisor is an integral part of the Network Body Shop experience. The Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.
The Role
- Communicates, enforces, and monitors effective parts department policies and processes
- Possess high attention to detail and adapts quickly to systematic and on site process changes
- Provide Technical Parts Support including inquiries through phone and email
- Provide Systematic Parts Support including Invoicing, Returns, and Tooling
- Provide Physical Parts and Tooling Support including Bin Checks, Parts Packing, and Shipping
- May be required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- May be required to assist the Tempe, AZ warehouse if needed
- Must be able to travel occasionally if needed
- Have a passion for sustainable transportation and changing the automotive industry
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required
- Previous experience in a parts department environment – luxury preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multitask while maintaining high level of accuracy
- Ability to analyze and interpret internal reports
- Able to effectively work both individually and within a group in a high-paced environment
- Ability to use basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office as well as learn proprietary DMS software
- Experience with excel based systems, SAP, and Salesforce is a plus
- Must possess a valid driver license
Preferred Qualifications
- AA/BS in either Automotive Technology or Business Management, or equivalent work experience
- Knowledge of HV systems, LV systems, and EV powertrains
- Start-up experience and related fast-paced environments
- Experience with excel based systems, SAP, and Salesforce
- Previous OEM Parts training
