We are looking for a Sr. Finance Analyst to deliver accurate, data-based information and provide sophisticated reporting. This role will play an integral part of the Finance team that directly helps secure the success of the company. The focus of the team is to provide a high degree of financial transparency across the company and facilitate business decision coordination with all departments.
You Will:
- Financial planning and analysis to support commercial & go-to-market strategy
- Monthly financial reporting related to revenue & cost of goods sold
- Support the consolidation of financial data including reconciliation of actuals and period-to-period variance analysis
- Partner closely with operating teams (including: Retail, Marketing, Business Development, Financial Services, Manufacturing, Logistics) to understand financial inputs and provide guidance on operating decisions
- Work with cross-functional teams to support the consolidation and analysis of financial data including reconciling accounting actuals, period-to-period variance analysis, revenue & cost forecasting
- Identify and propose opportunities to improve product profitability
- Provide new perspective to identify and propose opportunities for improvement across processes and business functions
- Other ad-hoc analysis as per business requirements
You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering or related field required
- At least 3 years’ relevant experience, with variance analysis experience (actuals to forecast comparison) and period-to-period analysis preferred
- Proven technical, quantitative and critical-thinking skills, high level of independent judgment, initiative and creativity to identify and clearly communicate key performance drivers to senior management
- Ability to manage multiple projects and assignments with a high degree of autonomy and accountability for results
- Demonstrated effective written, interpersonal and oral communication skills
- Established ability using Microsoft Office software with a high proficiency with Excel
- Prior experience with enterprise software such as SAP – is preferred
- Finance analyst experience at an Automotive OEM or Tier 1 Supplier – is preferred and huge plus!
