We are currently seeking a Semi Knock Down (SKD) Shipping and Export logistic Specialist. This position is critical to the success of the Outbound Transportation department and is responsible for overseeing the disassembly process of automotive components and the subsequent shipping operations including the export documentation to KSA/EU/CAN and new export countries. This role ensures that shipment process is conducted efficiently, safely, and in compliance with quality standards and trade compliance requirements, while also managing logistics until the goods are delivery at destination.

You Will:

· Schedule containers and assign daily tasks to meet production targets and deadlines.

· Coordinate the SAP transaction for finish good to successful interchange the material to export entities to create the correct export paperwork.

· Coordinate export paperwork for SKD and finish vehicle in accordance with the country requirements using the proper export documentation.

· Train team members on proper techniques and safety procedures.

· Conduct regular inspections of disassembled components for defects or damage.

· Implement corrective actions for any identified quality issues.

· Oversee the packaging and shipping processes for SKD components.

· Collaborate with logistics and production teams to ensure timely availability of vehicles.

· Maintain accurate shipping records and documentation.

· Identify opportunities for improving disassembly efficiency and reducing waste.

· Implement best practices for both disassembly and shipping processes.

· Foster a culture of continuous improvement among team members.

· Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.

· Conduct safety training sessions and regular safety audits.

· Investigate incidents and implement preventive measures to minimize risks.

· Maintain detailed records of disassembly operations, shipping metrics, and team performance.

· Prepare and present regular reports to management on productivity and quality metrics.

· Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.

 

You Bring:

· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive manufacturing or logistics, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

· Experience on logistic trade compliance paperwork for export (SLI, Commercial Invoice, DGD, MCO, etc.).

· Experience with SKD disassembly processes is highly desirable.

· Strong understanding of automotive components and export processes.

· Familiarity with shipping and logistics management systems.

· Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse team effectively.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics software (TMS); experience with ERP (SAP) systems is a plus.
