Global Supply Analyst

We are currently seeking a Global Supply Analyst / Business Analyst to report to the Direct Procurement team. The Global Supply Analyst will focus on prototype and production part support for the engineering teams and program builds, support Global Supply Managers in sourcing of assigned commodities, maintain part timelines and deliveries, and assist with purchasing throughout the company.
You Will:
- Manage Return to Vendor Purchase Process and Orders for the Purchasing Organization.
- Work with suppliers and Engineering to release parts into production and issue POs for Prototype Parts and Prototype/Production Tooling.
- Track critical timing requests through the supplier to our dock, while working to resolve any road blocks.
- Manage part availability for prototype builds/start of production and develop solutions to delays or problems that arise.
- Assist purchasing and engineering teams with PO changes and updates. Ensure teams are properly submitting purchase requests.
- Support data management and trackers for supply chain leadership.
- Interact with all levels of the company with routine administrative support.
You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree, technical, supply chain or finance discipline preferred, Master’s degree preferred.
- Open-minded self-starter with the ability to adapt, improvise and problem solve, as well as work independently on multiple tasks or projects.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a high degree of resilience to deal with urgent requests, and minimal information. Works well with various teams.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem solving skills. Passion for results, strategy, and hands on execution. Creative, calculated risk taker with the ability to manage complex suppliers and resolve disputes while preserving relationships with suppliers and internal staff.
- Strong written and verbal skills as well as organizational and program management capabilities.
- Proficient in Excel, Project, Power Point, Word, ERP systems (SAP or equivalent).
- Dashboard / BI tool skills is a plus
- Ability to mitigate unforeseen problems creatively and effectively.

This role will be 100% onsite in our Southfield MI office and will not offer a remote or hybrid option. Hours for this role will be 10:30 am EST to 7:30 pm EST.
