
Content Strategist
As Content Strategist, you are critical to ensuring the success of the Brand Team and how the Lucid experience is communicated to our diverse audiences. This role requires strategic vision, creative acumen, a team player mindset with keen ability to collaborate and problem-solve with many cross functional teams and departments at Lucid, in addition to consulting with external vendors to ensure their delivery of aligned and fully-integrated brand expressions.
You have your finger on the pulse of tech, automotive, design, and advertising industries, and are knowledgeable about emerging consumer trends and behaviors—skillfully translating and implementing these insights into your workstreams across the brand. You are a proven storyteller, with the ability to craft clear brand standards, positionings, messages, and support creative development of world-class content that drives engagement across any platform.
The Content Strategist is adept at processing complex information into simple, compelling concepts and stories. You have the creative sensibility able to develop emotionally resonant communication strategies optimized for content types, audiences, and storytelling environments. A highly collaborative role, the Content Strategist should be versatile, outgoing, and able to thrive in a creatively fluid and fast-paced environment. You will leverage business, marketing, and social media insights among other research insights to analyze, assess, and optimize the resonance of your output over time.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Develop guidelines and strategies for continued Brand development and evolution, specifically related to brand positioning, tone & voice, and copy-driven oversight to ensure consistency across all content and touchpoints.
· Develop and deliver expert pitches through beautifully communicated presentations to effectively communicate ideas and gain stakeholder buy-in.
· Lead the conceptualization and execution of seasonal brand narratives and campaign programs across video, print, digital, and experiential channels, ranging from paid media to retail showrooms, event kiosks, the Lucid website, CRM, and organic social.
· Develop and lead strategic creative concepts that effectively translate across channels and lines of business that reinforce our brand position and drive stronger business results.
· Leverage qualitative and quantitative research insights to evaluate and optimize marketing and advertising effectiveness.
· Partner with cross-functional groups to ensure consistency of messaging across teams.
· Lead the creative development of brand and product positioning statements, key messages, and creative concepts.
· Collaborate with legal departments to verify claims and messaging appropriateness.
· Work collectively across all functions from marketing and communications to engineers and the leadership teams to convey the value of the brand within a business context.
· Be immersed in and advocate for company values, ensuring these principles are reflected in all creative and content initiatives.
· Partner with brand creatives and producers to support Marketing, Comms, Sales, and brand-led initiatives.
· Work in partnership with other geographic markets to stand up, maintain and support creative and communications consistency.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
· 8+ years of experience working in content strategy and copywriting, with a proven track record leading and supporting brand/marketing centered projects
· Experience working both in house and within agencies, with a strong understanding of how to collaborate with external and internal partners
· Experience working with external agencies, creators, and talents
· Experience working in and/or strong understanding of the premium brands and luxury categories
· Experience in automotive is a plus
· Exceptional copywriting background, with an emphasis on writing emotionally-driven, compelling brand and marketing creative
· Strong understanding of marketing best practices, principles, and platforms
· Competency with Microsoft Outlook, Powerpoint, Keynote and Figma
Base Pay Range (Annual)
$139,100 - $204,050 USD
