
Sr. Process Engineer, Drive Unit
As a Sr. Process Engineer, Drive Unit, you will play a key role in optimizing manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, quality, and safety. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and lead initiatives to implement innovative solutions. You will be defining the value stream mapping for the processes and ensuring that we utilize a lean manufacturing methodology to be the industry leaders in state-of-the-art processes.
You will:
- Develop and implement manufacturing processes that optimize efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall product quality.
- Analyze existing processes, identify bottlenecks, and propose and implement solutions for improvement.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure manufacturability of new products and components.
- Design and conduct experiments, trials, and tests to validate process improvements and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Utilize Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
- Lead or participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities to address process deviations, defects, and non-conformities.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, process flow diagrams and PFMEA’s.
- Provide technical support to production teams, troubleshooting process issues, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with equipment and maintenance teams to ensure optimal performance and reliability of manufacturing equipment and machinery.
- Conduct training sessions for production personnel on new processes, equipment, and safety protocols.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in process engineering, and recommend and implement innovative solutions.
- Participate in cross-functional teams and projects to support organizational goals and initiatives
You bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering required
- 5+ years of experience in process engineering roles within a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and technologies
- Proficiency in process optimization techniques, such as Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and root cause analysis
- Experience with CAD software and process simulation tools is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex data sets
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments
- Proven track record of driving process improvements and achieving measurable results.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
- Working knowledge of data visualization and analysis software’s are a plus
- Travel is expected, up to 30%
Base Pay Range (Annual)
$118,500 - $162,910 USD
